My girls love Miss Rosy's dance academy. Feels like a real family with wonderful teachers that not give a high level of tuition but care about their students. The annual summer show is fabulous - so much work goes into it from the staff and pupils - and the routines are imaginative and super entertaining.
My daughter has been attending Rosy Thompson Academy since she was 3 years old, and now, at 11, it's incredible to see how much she has grown in confidence and skill. The teachers are not only talented but also incredibly supportive, creating a fun environment where students can thrive. Watching her perform with joy and enthusiasm is a testament to the fantastic work done here. We couldn't be happier with the progress and the positive impact it has had on her life. Highly recommend!
Our daughter has been attending the academy for more than 3 years, and there has not been a single instant where she didn't go there and come back with a luminous smile on her face! She had never taken any kind of dance classes before, and now she is proficient in ballet, tap, jazz dance, and musical theater! Now her most expected times of the year are Christmas and summer shows, about which she cannot hide her excitement! We would like to thank wholeheartedly to Miss Thompson and all the staff at the academy for the loving, caring, fun activity environment that they provide for our children, and we cannot wait to see this year's summer show!
My daughter has been attending the holiday camps at the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance for a few years now. The camps are energetic, engaging and offer a great balance between having fun, confidence building and the opportunity to make new friends of a similar age. My daughter certainly enjoys the camps! Watching her perform in the end of week mini show is a great opportunity to witness first hand the progress she has made..... and the smile on her face!
My daughter attends the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance and absolutely loves it. In addition to her weekly classes in ballet, tap and musical theatre, she also attends the holiday camps. Her confidence has grown beyond belief and she has made so many wonderful friends who all share the same passion. The team at the Academy are amazing and very supportive. We can’t wait till the Summer Show which is definitely one of the main highlights of the year.
If I could I would put a zero star rating. We have done Street dance and Drama with the academy and unfortunately the director who is also the founder only cared about the money and not my daughter! She also denied any mistakes done by her or her teachers. She made my daughter to dance on her broken toe in school and denied the incident. She forgot to put my daughter in the LAMDA exam and didn’t tell me about it and I only found out by coincidence. Although her teachers are helpful, I am afraid the director is very unprofessional. We are also in the school where she teaches in and all girls and parents know that she favours girls that attend her academy. This has been raised with the headmistress and an action will be taken. Both my daughters never liked her techniques or attitude in class. I do not recommend this academy. S
