It has been a great experience to learn some of the Flamenco's technique. Ollie is one of the best teachers I've ever met. He has been extremely patience with the group. In Ollie's lessons, he will get you to work very hard and most important help you to gain confidence.
If you want to learn the perfect art of flamenco then Ollie is the perfect teacher. He's a superb dancer and exceptionally skilled in his craft. He has a true passion for flamenco and this is reflected in class. As a teacher he’s incredibly inspiring and encouraging and I love his attention to detail (he hears and sees everything!) Ollie cares about teaching correct technique, posture, rhythm and he most definitely has the ability to get the best from his students. His classes are challenging and great fun. You’ll be fully immersed in flamenco, with lovely people, and come away feeling energised and looking forward to the next class! Absolutely recommend The Flamenco Academy.
I couldn't recommend The Flamenco Academy more. Ollie is such an accomplished inspirational and encouraging teacher with great attention to detail, his classes fly by. He makes sure everyone understands each aspect of the lesson before moving on. He has the perfect balance between the fun and seriousness of what he is teaching, you really care about your own practice and want to do your best in class! In addition to this he holds workshops throughout the year where he invites other amazing teachers from Spain.
I was a student of Ollie's around 10 years ago, and now I go to Flamenco Academy too. Ollie is one of the best teachers around and an incredible dancer, who works you hard during classes but the result is unmistakable. Ollie is a super-talented dancer and a fantastic teacher. His technical ability is unrivalled in London, and his love for flamenco is infectious! He works his students hard and challenges them, but he does so with care, encouragement and fun. He also brings some of the best teachers over from Spain for classes and workshops to make sure his students experience a variety of styles and techniques.
