   We had baguettes x2 and coffee x2 Very dry bread with hardly any filling and no garnish. You used to serve with crisps and salad. Very disappointing we most definitely won’t be returning.

   Shocking experience at this branch. I used the toilet after buying a coffee and found no toilet paper at all, leaving me embarrassed and stuck. Staff told me toilet roll is only given on request because of theft — a completely unacceptable policy for any café. I submitted a complaint, but the manager’s response was defensive, dismissive, and tried to shift the blame onto me. Since then, I’ve had no apology and no follow-up from the branch or head office. Appalling customer care and a total lack of responsibility. I won’t be returning.

   Esquire’s Coffee at Yate riverside truly exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding, with the barista being exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The coffees were absolutely fantastic — rich, perfectly brewed, and thoroughly enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Highly recommend stopping by for a great cup and warm service!

   I wasn't expecting such a good flat white in Yate. Thanks to Ara for making it, she was fab. Seems like a popular spot with a wide spectrum of people: solo laptop workers, book readers, kids and parents, retirees, and other chatting pairs. A slightly odd building, trying to do interesting and quirky but in a narrow, new-build retail park shed. A good range of different seating options and loads of space on the terrace outside. Great coffee is what I came for and what I got, and the rest looks good too!

   Couldn't fault this place, the staff make this one of my top places for coffee in my area. There is another place where I prefer the coffee profile, but the staff here are so efficient and friendly, (especially when I bring my baby in), I nearly always come here for my coffee.

   Only two people serving but both were very polite and friendly. Influx of customers caused a bit of a flurry but they coped well. One thing I would say though is that the place could do with a good window cleaner. Very messy windows. Good choice of reasonably priced food and drink.

   Lovely coffee shop with a range of snacks, cakes and also a nice selection of breakfast choices. Staff have always been polite and helpful, and the cafe itself is a nice place to sit and enjoy.
