We visit every time we visit the Bristol area. Food is always great! Excellent value for money and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend paying them a visit. They are a little off the beaten path, but we'll worth going out of the way for. Less than 5 minutes from Michaelwood services on the M5 Northbound.

Lovely Sunday lunch served here and it's dog friendly. It is always best to ask to book when you have dogs on holiday with you and you are welcome. Lovely outside garden and parking.

Found this little Inn by chance. Well presented and clean. We only had drinks and a quick snack however it was well presented and good value. We noticed that they had a special offer on a buy one get one free on all main courses which we felt was excellent value. Large beer garden which had small area of play equipment in. Friendly staff. Campsite at the back of the pub - we didn’t visit so are unable to comment on the camping area. The noise from the adjacent M5 and railway track was quite noticeable and I can imagine may upset some people.

Staying at the camp site and this is the best food we've ever had on a campsite. Lastnight I had seabass and tonight had a rare steak. Others had cheapest burger and gammon lastnight and tonight the special faggots and another cheese burger. Everything was delicious and the pub was quaint and well served.

Would never go there again! Me and my partner came here as a belated Valentine’s Day meal and were disgusted with the service. We weren’t shown to a table so decided to choose our own table to then overhear staff blatantly talking about us. The food took over an hour to come and was hoping it would taste amazing as it took so long. I was wrong. The food was very basic and not much flavour in anything. After the service we had I’m shocked you have so many good reviews!

Pleasant little site with nice views across the hills. We received a friendly welcome from the chef patron of The Pepper Pot pub we ate there in the evening, food is good, staff were friendly and pub was busy. In fairness, you cannot ignore the motorway noise which, for me was the only slight downside. Would I stay again? Yes probably…

Now that it's called the Pepper pot again we thought it might be time to try the new management out. We both really enjoyed our meal tonight thank you. Our rump steaks were cooked perfectly and the meals were nice and hot. Our dessert was lovely with plenty of fruit in the Eton mess. The beer was tasty and the service was attentive, happy and friendly, we will have to come back again! Thanks again it was a lovely evening. Chris.
