Wonderful little cafe with two floors. Best latte I've had in months, served with a biscoff. Let us use a reusable cup, but also had takeaway cups. Had board games in the corner. Would recommend!

Such a nice stop on our way to York. The staff are more than lovely. The hot choccy was delicious and the food was even better. Thank you for your kind hospitality and hopefully one day we can return.

5min walk from the train station. How did I not know this was so close?! In the future i’ll be arriving here to grab a coffee and work, prior to grabbing my train. Wifi isnt too bad - video calls work. Lots of table space. Coffee not too bad.

Stopped in for a quick lunch - Ham and Cheese Panini. The Panini was delicous and really cheesy! I enjoyed the side salad which was fresh and had a nice dressing. Crisps were tasty. Very reasonably priced, a short wait but understandable as they were very busy. The building itself was clean and modern and the food was of high quality. All in all a very pleasant experience and I am sure I will visit again.

I would highly recommend The coffee shop. I've visited many times for lunch during a dog walk. There is a good choice of food to suit most people's taste. My favourite food at the moment is the fish finger sandwich. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Popular with my dog who loves visiting for a doggy treat.

Lunched here for a few days and the food is really good! There is something for everyone on the menu, vegan and vegetarian options available if you want it. Seating inside or out, the staff were really friendly and the food orders came out quickly. Prices were good too, toilet facilities inside the centre.

Nice little coffee shop in a nice location on the green, with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is nice but could do with some more veggie/vegan options. Stoke Gifford has a lack of cafes, so it would be good if this place opened for longer hours and on weekends (only open 10-4 weekdays).

I love coming here for coffee (although it was before the pandemic that I visited last). High ceilings give it a nice airy feel. The homemade cakes are delicious and the coffee is also good - it's a pity that you can only have a normal-sized cup, though (as opposed to a mid-sized drink), as I'm used to having twice the size in other cafes, which obviously works out cheaper per fluid ounce!)

My wise friend once said, judge everything on its own merits. I expected Old School Rooms Coffee Shop to be dripping with greasy spoon drudgery, given its name. From the outside, I had preconceptions of its interior i.e., a pokey hole where they serve instant coffee, with whole milk and sugar. Luck would have it, they had an espresso machine. Their menu listed a flatwhite and they had oat milk. I nearly fell to my knees and wept. Flat whites need personality. Adding latte art adds that creativity and human touch. The accommodating staff member had a bubbly, infectious personality. She mentioned the range of desserts, many of which are baked in the kitchen. The recommendation was the Stout and Chocolate sponge cake. Unfortunately, they had sold out of this fine baked good. The advice from staff was to come back first thing on Monday. Unfortunately, I’m heading through on Sunday. I may have to extend stay just for a taste.
