FED is a fantastic independent cafe to visit in Fishponds. The only downside being its small size meaning you may not get a table at peak times. FED has a wide assortment of food and drink, all to fantastic quality. Complimentary mint and eucalyptus water is provided which is a nice touch.
Favourite local spot in Bristol and they do the best chocolate cake. Crossaints 10/10. Foccacia sandwiches, toasties, sausage rolls, pasties and any of their baked goods are all also 10/10.
I have been coming here with my partner for a few months quite regularly now, it is consistently fantastic. The food is delicious, especially the sausage roll and fritata. The service is always excellent too, and very friendly!! Atmosphere is a 10/10. And the fig, pistachio and lime cake has to be one of the most amazing cakes i have ever tasted. Coffee 10/10. Safe to say Fed is my number one favourite cafe at the moment. Thank you Fed!
Top spot for a quick lunch break and coffee We've been to FED a few times after a walk through snuff mills from Bromley Heath. Always great coffee and a top selection of delicious rolls and toasties. Would also recommend a cake to share after a brisk, weekend winter walk
Just had a lovely takeaway coffee. The food on the counter looked beautiful but I didn’t want to get anything as it’s uncovered right next to where people are queuing, there was little fly buzzing around it and the egg mayo and cold meat rolls weren’t refrigerated. This need rethinking for hygiene purposes surely?
I had a leek and broccoli and blue cheese pasty, delicious top quality food that's better than I can cook at home. The filling was creamy, the veg still tender and the pastry crisp and not burnt. My partner had a cup of turmeric and ginger tea which she loved. Keep it up people!
The staff were very lovely and helpful when trying to find a cake. She described them all and gave honest opinions. Absolutely loved the atmosphere
