Unwelcoming experience! We arrived at 5.10, store due to close at 6. One member of staff clearly unhappy that we had come in, despite a fair few people being in there. She swore while serving us, spoke of feeling suicidal. Was persistently having a conversation at shouting level across the store. Mopped around us. Banged chairs and tables around. Made us uncomfortable and unwelcome. Wonβt be back again!

Had a sweet treat reward to use and thought we would pop into this store. I wish we hadn't bothered. Hot Chocolate was gorgeous as it is in every other store, and the Ginger Loaf cake was divine! You can't go wrong with corporate orders or directions. However, when we walked up to the till to order, there was a gentleman serving, he then told a young woman to serve us. She then started joking about touching her bum???? The girl behind her and the man started saying something and laughing. When we were eventually asked what we wanted, the woman serving kept turning to chat to the others. I normally ask for skimmed milk, but I didn't get the opportunity. There wasn't any eye contact, thanks or a smattering of small talk. There was a queue building up and the staff just seemed to want to laugh and joke with each other rather than serving the customers. The whole place needs a freshen up and seat cushions need to be cleaned. There are a lot of stains on them. The toilet is just nasty. The manager was in his office chatting to someone on the phone with his door wide open. Not good if you are discussing personal or confidential matters. I have been in many stores that I would return to multiple times, this one, I don't think so. There are so many independent coffee shops on this street and I would rather pay more to eat and drink in those. I'll keep my rewards for the better stores.

Itβs pretty good usually very busy, sometimes the staff arenβt very friendly and are inexperienced. Itβs lovely when there are nice workers.

I went into costa with my twin 3yr old boys, one of which was having a massive meltdown. He wouldnt calm down, the young girl behind the counter came over and gave him a couple of marshmellows to try and passify him, then one of the gentleman barristas came over and made a fuss of him. As one of my boys has spd this is quite a regular occurance for me and makes going out quite unpleasant but for once rather than being stared at and being made to feel uncomfortable they really made me feel welcome and i will go again. It really made a huge difference to me and i cant thank them enough for their kindness.

Always a great break from shopping stopping for a coffee or hot chocolate and hot and cold snacks.

Visited today with my sister and niece. It was very busy but despite this we still received excellent customer service. Larbi was very friendly, interacting with my niece and he even offered to wash her dummy after she had dropped it on the floor. I don't often leave reviews but felt this little gesture meant a lot. Thank you Larbi and your team for excellent customer service :)

Disappointed with service even when it was quiet, no greeting or any customer service. I asked for latte and it was milk and coffee with so much bubbles on top. They definitely need some brista training to know how to make a simple hot drink.

This Costa is very nice, clean and spacious. It feels very cosy, especially as they have recently had a makeover. There are plenty of seats available upstairs and down. There are toilets upstairs and downstairs. The servers are friendly and quick to serve. The drinks are made to a good temperature. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
