   Soho is one of those coffee shops you end up going back to without even thinking about it. The coffee is consistently great but what really makes the place stand out is the atmosphere and the people. Emma the manager clearly runs the place with care. Everything feels well organised, welcoming and relaxed at the same time. The staff are always friendly, attentive and genuinely happy to help whether you are grabbing a quick takeaway or sitting in for a while. It is the kind of spot where you feel comfortable staying a bit longer and you always leave in a better mood than when you arrived. Easily one of my favourite coffee shops. Highly recommend.

   The coffee was nice, but the service was extremely slow. It took nearly 20 minutes to make two coffees despite there being no queue and three staff members on duty. Active staff orders were being taken and made ahead of waiting customers, which was disappointing. Having a QR code on each table for ordering would be a big improvement and would stop customers missing out on their session while waiting.

   This café is wonderfully convenient… if you happen to work there. For customers, it’s a bit like joining a cult where nobody knows when salvation (or your panini) is coming. No numbers, no names, just a Darwinian food lottery where only the strongest willed claim their order. Seating is a premium experience: you pay extra for the privilege of sitting at tables that look like they’ve hosted a children’s finger-painting class every hour of the day since 1997. Chairs are so grimy you half expect David Attenborough to narrate the wildlife living on them. The food itself? Irrelevant. By the time you get it, you’re too exhausted from loitering to care. The only reason this place still exists is because it has the monopoly inside the leisure centre. It’s basically the North Korea of cafés—no competition, questionable hygiene, and you leave wondering how you got trapped inside.

   Such a shame that this place is so terrible as it’s in a prime location really. I’ve come here at least 4 times and on each occasion something has either gone wrong or generally been an issue. The waiting times for both food and drink are crazy long for what you’re receiving, with most of the time the food being massively undercooked anyway! The service is okay but leaves a lot of room for improvement, with staff not taking orders correctly or generally just being either passive aggressive and rude. A well run coffee place would do so well in this sports centre, it’s just a shame that this is all there is at the moment.

   Average was initial thought, then defensive horrible yuck energy from the person serving up the drinks, apparently I was “kicked out of the queue” because she couldn’t see me, I was in earshot waiting whilst keeping my 4 year old occupied and safe from potential stranger danger, but hey you know, the feelings of the customer service operator are always a higher priority over the safety of your child these days! Seats are worse than worse for wear, sat here feeling like crying for being told off for not arriving for my tea in line with the expectations of the woman who took 10 minutes pouring it…

   One star for the Mamagement. Only one employee working on Sunday morning when it was extremely busy! Five stars for the employee who managed all this workload alone, staying kind, brilliant, and totally professional. First time there, to be fair. Maybe I was just unlucky.

   There is a lady who is very rude seems to be picking on people and young telling people to but something or get out not even giving people a chance and sit. So I was with a handicapped person who she was rather rude to as he has to have his own lunch. I myself purchased a sandwich and coffee she was extremely rude. The manger Christina.

   Staff friendly. Drinks and food fresh. Only disappointment was we couldn't have any cakes due to the toppings on some being nuts and my wife has a mild reaction to nuts.

   I visited today after our swim session. The service was very slow. They looked overwhelmed. I asked the lady to toast my toastie, as I wasn't asked. The lady asked if I was taking out or sitting in. I said taking out. She but my toastie on the side, rather than put it in the toasting machine. She served the next customer and I was still waiting. Then she served the next and I was still waiting. Then she finally put my toastie on. When she took it out of the toaster she cut it up, with the same gloves she just used to handle bacon with. I am a vegetarian and so I pointed it out. I think the staff need to be educated in food cross contamination. I was so annoyed after waiting. She asked if I would like her to make another. I said no and got a refund. Won't be spending my money there again.
