    So much worse since the self service has been introduced. Stand in a huge queue just for them to ‘hold the queue for five minutes’. I’m sure this wouldn’t happen if people could simply be served at the till as customers just take so long to decide what they want! Not sure how the staff are handling trying to search for which buzzer is going off either.

    I don't understand all the negative reviews. This cafe is a very pleasant experience. We were served by Clara who was excellent. After sitting down, she brought our coffee and food quickly with a warm smile, wished us a good day and checked if we needed anything else. Coffee is great. Atmosphere is busy but buzzy. I will definitely be returning.

    First visit to new cafe. Ordering is like a motorway service McDonald’s. You have to order and hope you find a table - not easy at busy times. Weirdly the food comes in stages and before the drinks. The staff are mega busy but it all just feels like chaos. Tables were not cleaned off promptly .I genuinely think the staff were trying their best but there was nobody apparently in charge and directing activity. Sorry M&S you haven’t done a good job here.

    After the refurbishment, we went in recently and had lunch - soup and a burger, our family liked it, decent standard, food was served quick and usually there used to be a lot of waiting in making the order earlier, but now they have introduced kiosks where you can order yourself and then go directly to the table, and food was then served in about 5-10 mins. So it was overall a very quick service. When in the mall, another option for eating in!

    This place has 'gone down the hill' people cramped into small areas, tables un-wiped, etc. If you are looking for a place to catch Covid, this would be high on the list. I am very disappointed and it used to be so good. We bought scones that were on reflection old . They crumbled as soon the buter touched them. What a waste of money. I can only say that this may have been an of day and I will revisit to see if it was a 'one off'.

    Purchased all of my Christmas food goodies, dates permitting. Had lunch in the cafe, which was very nice. Very busy, staff working extremely hard to cope with massive queues.

    Staff are friendly and helpful. The service is good, but takes a little while to make the drinks. Tables are cleaned quickly. The layout it good to fit in as many tables as possible without making it difficult for wheelchair and pram users. Food and drink are reasonably priced.
