   About five months ago, we enrolled our grandson in this daycare, and we are truly grateful for the warm care the teachers have provided. Since this is the second daycare our grandson has attended, we were a bit worried at first, but seeing how happily they go each day has brought us great comfort. At the previous daycare, they would sometimes cry at drop-off, but here, they walk in with a bright smile and without a single tear. We believe this is because of the teachers’ genuine love and attention. Thank you for caring for our grandson with such kindness and patience every day. Their happy smiles reflect the dedication you put into your work. We sincerely appreciate everything you have done and look forward to your continued guidance.

   Our daughter has recently started Primary 1, and sadly this meant leaving Head Start Nursery. However, I would love to share our experience so that other families can know what a truly wonderful place this nursery is. We moved to Scotland from Ukraine, and finding this nursery has truly been one of the best things that happened to us here. Headed up by Gillian and Aileen, the nursery feels like a second home. Every single member of staff gives 100% to what they do — they are kind, caring, and incredibly thoughtful. It truly feels like a big family. Whenever I’ve needed help, Gillian has always been there. She’s approachable, supportive, and ready to assist with any questions or concerns — nothing is ever too much trouble for her. Our daughter’s key worker, Lorna, is an absolutely wonderful person and an outstanding educator. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She built such a warm and trusting relationship with our daughter, and we could see how much our child loved and respected her. Before this, our daughter attended another nursery for six months where she cried every day and begged not to go. But here, she never said she didn’t want to attend. She was happy, confident, and thriving. We noticed so many positive changes in her — she became well-prepared for school, more independent, and truly joyful. This nursery gave us a sense of comfort and belonging in a new country, and I will always be grateful. I never imagined a nursery could be this wonderful. Every time I dropped off my daughter, it felt like I was leaving her with family — not just at a nursery. Thank you all so much for everything you do!

   HAPPY and PEACEFUL children! We entrusted our puppy to this school because from the first meeting with the management we understood that we had finally found "HOME". Being foreign, our puppy would have needed support not knowing the language and finding himself in a completely new environment with no points of reference. We had tried another nursery school and it was terrible, in fact our puppy didn't like going there willingly but since she started her journey in this nursery school she was reborn. All the staff with love, dedication, patience, understanding, professionalism made him feel at ease, she looked after him carefully, making him feel safe and well-liked. Whether you are a foreigner or not, this nursery is wonderful because the children are not "parked", they are "loved" and are not just numbers. Each of them has a reference teacher and every day we are told how the day went, the progress, the activities, the outings and what was served for lunch or snacks. Not to be underestimated and indeed on the contrary the structure deserves to be highlighted.. Safe, spacious, full of games and equipment to entertain and learn new things for children, clean and tidy but above all the value of education is also conveyed. I believe there is nothing more beautiful for a child than feeling at home and for this I really thank everyone for the wonderful work you do, you positively change the future of these children because thanks to you they learn, play but above all they are calm and happy and nothing is more important.    We have had two children at Headstart Nursery and from the first day to now, we have been extremely impressed by the caring dedication, commitment and professionalism of all the staff there. Every day the children, and you, are warmly greeted by the staff and made to feel like the children are in a home from home. We leave the children in complete confidence that they we have a great and engaging day there. We found the settling in process very clear and flexible and very much went at the pace of the needs of our children. From a development standpoint I have seen great progress in regards to their social interaction skills and their learning and development paths which has very much been facilitated by everyone at Headstart. We have been particularly impressed at the communication we receive from the nursery as there are regular updates through the Learning Journal app, with photos and videos of what activities they have been up to; and also each day we get a brief from the staff at pick up time on what the children have done, and how they have been throughout the day. In short, it is a great environment for our children and would highly recommend to anyone considering sending their children here!

   Amazing experience with this nursery for both my children who both started from 9-10months. Gillian & Aileen run a tight ship here! Staff are excellent, lots of creative learning and play, children get outside daily unless outrageous weather and on those days there is ‘an indoor garden’ with climbing frame etc. Healthy snacks/meals on offer, thorough handover at end of the day. Kids thriving and very happy here. Recommend in a heartbeat
