Absolutely filthy! Choice of tables with either rubbish and crumbs on floor or table, some have both. When staff told they jusy said there are not enough staff. Place was empty.
Costa management can not be proud of this location. Filthy place for a coffee. Massively understaffed and the workers say this is normal. Ironic that this location is called Drive Thru, especially seeing the Drive Thru is never open. Slow service. They have “veggie signs” on the cakes and sweets. I’ve never heard of cakes containing meat in the first place. Every single table was dirty and there was garbage everywhere. Horrible
Terrible service. Dirty tables and seats. Waited 10 - 15 minutes for my coffee even though there was only one person in front of me buying 2 regular coffees. One member of staff in particular seemed to be a go slow. I had to ask if I had been forgotten about. Almost got in my car to go into the drive thru as it appeared those customers were being prioritised. By the time I got my flat white my bacon roll was lukewarm. Was offered a fresh one but I couldn’t be bothered waiting any longer. Went to find a table only see most were dirty and full of trays that hadn’t been cleared. Had to clear my own table and brush the food waste off the seat before I sat down. Not a pleasant experience.
Nice location but long queue and no enough staff so it kind of kill the atmosphere by the time you get to sit down. Exhausted waiting to get a drink. Prioritising drive through over people queuing in the store doesn’t help either. Tables can’t be cleaned up so you have to tidy up yourself!
I have used this particular Costa at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol a number of times and every time I have been greeted with a smile and very helpful staff. When you've had a bad day that goes a long way to making me feel appreciated.
Usual good value with the App offers. Ordered drinks and cake and had a few offers saved so made for a cheap visit. The service here was less than functional. Initial "hello" but no thank you after giving order. Our toasted items were just placed on the counter and the girl walked off while chatting about her night out to her mate...rude. OK if you want a drink from the drive through but don't expect to much from counter service, I have to say this is most unusual for a Costa, my local one is amazing.
Had a hot chocolate and caramel shortbread. Hardly any whipped cream on the hot chocolate which was a disappointment for the price I payed. The caramel shortbread was delicious. Tables were dirty with TA cups etc on them but there was enough staff to clean the tables between each customer but hadn't bothered because they were to busy closing down.
We use this Costa drive thru quite often since is close to our workplace. I can say that staff are really kind and always have a smile on their faces. Positive experience.
