β˜• Review: Coffee #1 Coffee #1 has become one of those dependable, quietly brilliant spots that always deliversβ€”whether you’re grabbing a quick flat white between meetings or settling in for a longer session with a laptop or a good book. It strikes that sweet spot between cosy and practical, making it a favourite across Bristol and beyond.

Fab little cafe for a quick coffee, this Coffee#1 store has been here since 2001. Always served great coffee quickly and efficiently. Staff are always friendly and understanding.

Grim place with terrible atmosphere. The coffee was bitter, the cake stale and the male server, seemed uninterested. I have a young baby, made an order of more than 3 items and he eventually came to me to tell me that he had left my order at the counter for me to collect. WOW, thanks for the service! Another couple who had sat closeby, had their order brought to them by the female server who was kind and polite. This place is for those needing a drink if their life depends on it. Never again.

Drinks were on point. However we ordered desserts and they were less than fresh. Carrot cake was dry. Bisccoff cheesecake base was soggy and the topping was dry. Seemed like these had been our for a few days. Not a great experience.

Went to the Coffee#1 Clifton cafe. Thought I was ordering ham, mozzarella and cheddar panini. It usually costs Β£5.30 I think, fair enough it was half price deal as I assume they want to sell remaining sandwiches before cafe closes. But this is pretty pitiful looking and not appetising. Lack of ingredients and not worth paying full price off. Shame! Didn’t eat it. This is nothing to do with the staff and they provided a great service and kindly refunded the panini and offered me something else, so I played it safe with plain croissant. It’s a shame the main company doesn’t produce decent sandwiches or ensure the sandwiches are consistently checked and made as it states on the label. The staff provide great service but the food lacks quality. With so many cafes around here, it should be something to be mindful of.

Staff are super friendly, and extremely quick takeaway service. Really loud music playing and a difficult environment for my Autism.

Very nice stop for a family coffee. Staff were very pleasant, and there was a good feel. We didn't have food, so I can't really judge it.

Very good branch with a nice terrace and friendly staff. Great location in a quiet and pedestrian are of Bristol. Plenty of parking around. Hot chocolate came with sprinkles on top by default with no need to ask for it.

Good coffee#1. There is a little terrace next to it and a lot of sofas inside. The coffee and chocolate were amazing. Peaceful place to read or take a coffee studying or just relaxing.

Staff at the counter were extra kind and helpful. The setting is very nice and clean. Nice place for a quick stop for coffee.
