Had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish here. The coffee is some of the nicest I have ever tasted, the selection is extensive and there are also some lovely teas, hot chocolates and soft drinks to suit everyone. The staff made the experience for me; really know their stuff and made me feel very welcome, would absolutely recommend!!
I was walking down park street and happen to stumble across this lovely looking coffee shop. I walked in and was immediately met with a warm presence from the vibe in this place. I was served by a lovely barista called Alex. He made me one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had outside of Asia. It was reasonably priced for the quality of the coffee and I would highly recommend to anyone who is in and around the area. Coffee under pressure is simply the best coffee spot in Bristol!
Very good coffee. If you are having the coffee in I confirm that it is served in porcelain cups (I confirm that because some previous reviews may suggest that is not the case and actually nearly put us off going to this cafe. Luckily we decided to try it anyway). We were very pleased with our cappuccinos and particularly enjoyed the custard pies (custard in filo pastry) which were warmed for us and cut up into manageable bites. Nice friendly staff - good atmosphere. We will certainly return.
It's a small cosy joint with very friendly team. We ordered 2 flat white and were a bit disappointed with the coffee. It was at best lukewarm and on a chilly wet day, not exactly the most satisfying drink, is it?

The one star dosnt reflect the quality of coffee or the staff. Both of which were really excellent. But I can't give a cafe that serves in paper cups more than 1*!! I took my own cup and was given a 10p discount which better than nothing but 10p dosnt go exactly far in today's economy. Maybe offer a bigger discount to encourage people to use their own? There a lot of other low ratings from the cafe about using single use, even when sitting in. I think it is also ironic that you have Boston Tea Party across the road which don't serve take away cups but offer a scheme to bring back and reuse. I would really love to try one of your pour over speciality coffee, as a big coffee lover I love seeing places offering v60. But I am never going to pay £5 to drink out of a paper cup! There is something quite special about sitting down and drinking good quality coffee out of glass or ceramics. Please can you start doing the washing up and I would love to come back!
A good place to stop for coffee on the way up Park Street. The coffee is really good - though the day I was there it was only served in takeaway cups. The spinach pie is a speciality and very tasty. It gets busy at lunchtimes and the seating could be more comfortable. There are toilets downstairs in the basement
The brewed coffee is good, and the Ethiopian beans and v60 are a perfect match. The view from inside and outside the shop is great
We tried Flat White and Latte! The coffee were so nice and rich in aroma as well, a bit nutty in taste. We also loved the design of the coffee cup as well! Btw, you can also get some coffee equipment here too!! Love the vibes and also friendly staff:)
Pleasant staff and cool, light-filled interior make for a better experience than most high street coffee shops, and the coffee itself is respectable, however the banana "cake" (more of a muffin, really) was inedible. (In fairness, the almond croissant was a delight.) Make your choices carefully.
