Genuinely the rudest staff I have ever come across. I wish I could give 0 stars. My mum just wanted to try a waffle stick and the girl who served at the till was vulgar. She acted like my Mum was the biggest inconvenience when she asked one question, rubbing her forehead and sighing extra loudly. Not to mention the other staff members who were hiding behind the counter giving us all dirty looks. After acting like we had asked her to complete an impossible task she didn’t even bother to apply the discount for the waffles on Wednesdays. Then when we were waiting for our food the staff were all slagging off customers, looking over at us on occasion. Genuinely acting like they all have the hardest jobs in the world. When the waffles were ready another staff member came over with 2 in her hand and my mum said politely that we only ordered one to which the girl snapped back β€˜Well which one is it’. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I believe the girl on the till was called Amelie, who kept shouting for help when on the till from a girl called Jade I believe, who was particularly keen to give customers dirty looks and bark orders extra loudly so we knew they were closing. She also seemed like she was a manager or supervisor position which was was weird as she was the quite possibly the rudest and most unprofessional out all of them. We visited on 31/12/25, Cribbs Causeway at around 16:50. We won’t be coming back and I hope you sort your awful staff out.

ShakeLab, Mall, Cribbs Causeway. Filthy place, rip off, with rude staff serving. I would give zero for service if I could because of how the girl at the counter treated me. She genuinely treated me like dirt because she misunderstood my order. I filled out their website feedback form to advise them discreetly and politely of my experience and they haven't even replied at all. As they can't he bothered to respond and offer assurances they will speak to their staff and take steps so that no customer leaves feeling how I did again, I believe this review is the only way forward to warn anyone else planning to spend over Β£6.00 on one small cup of blitzed machine ice cream with no toppings, amd struggle to find a table without rubbish on, that the experience may be less than premium and actually be very upsetting.

I recently visited The Shake Lab and was impressed by what they had to offer. They had 4 pre-chosen "premium" options & 14 toppings to customize their classic shakes to offer drinks wise. The Waffle Stix was also customizable, with 17 toppings and 6 sauces to choose from but only aloud to pick 1 topping & 1 sauce for it. I opted for a seasonal shake called the Salted Caramel Egg, which not only looked delicious but also tasted amazing. The service at The Shake Lab was amazing, with friendly staff who were attentive & efficient. Despite being a small shop, The Shake Lab felt cosy and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot to grab a treat. The price of my shake was Β£7.25, which is a bit on the higher side. However, given the quality & taste of the shake, I didn't mind paying a bit extra. The Shake Lab was also spotless, even with customers sitting in, which was a testament to the staff's attention to detail

Popped in for an afternoon treat! Ice creams and crepes are really good with loads of topping options. Enjoyed ice creams with Smarties and Belgian chocolate sauce, strawberries with Belgian choc, peanut butter cups with salted caramel sauce, and a crepe with strawberries and choc. All delicious. (Not all to myself!) Service is quick and friendly. The seating area is quite small so the atmosphere is what you make it but it's comfortable and ideal for couples. No larger tables and not much room between. (On this visit a customer in a wheelchair wasn't able to access the table with her family). It's a bit pricey, but fair for an occasional treat, and the ice creams are pretty huge!

very small seating area to start, staff stared a lot for no apparent reason and weren't particularly enthusiastic. more than Β£6 for an ice cream that was plain vanilla with no taste. the chocolate sauce froze on top of it before we even received it so it was chewy and stuck to the spoon. flavourless and bland, and by far overrated and overpriced. will not be coming back.

Absolutely appalled at our experience here, sat down to a complete mess with staff not paying any attention to seating area. No accessible bins. Horrendous experience. Shake tasted of absolutely nothing

Bought two pancakes and two drinks the picture of the pancake filled with lovely strawberries and sauce. In reality there was 5 slices of strawberries in each pancake so less than 2 strawberries in each and barely taste the sauce they maybe cutting back but that is ridiculous!! Two young kids serving that had no clue.

3 places in the mall to have an Oreo shake, you'd expect this to be the best. Well, no. Over blended so it was more like and icey poor chocolate one instead. Not creamy at all, quite watery and without the important Oreo little pieces!! The add showed the Oreo pieces tho. Even paying extra for more Oreo!!! Β£6.35 for a regular size, I expected at least a fair one. This was way below average. Won't repeat.

Used to be a good shake here. Not anymore, uninterested staff that don't appear to really care about what they're doing. Slow service but mainly disappointed that they couldn't mix my milkshake enough to even break up the ingredients properly. Was half a banana at the bottom of mine and and the chocolate still as 1 piece. Definitely won't be stopping by again.
