A small services, but generally quieter than the M4 services. Especially on busy days. A Costa, Burger King and WH Smith. Accessible toilet is to the right of the main entrance.
Moto Severn View is okay for a quick stop, but it’s a bit small compared to other service stations. The essentials are there — toilets, food, fuel — but nothing stands out. The views are nice if you walk a bit, but overall, it could use a refresh.
Very nice facilities and such lovely staff, clean toilets. I decided to take my coffee and reach the view point of the bridge which was, very tricky to reach the view point if you aren't familiar with the place,I parked at the car park, note it's only allowed to park for 2hours only. I walked through the door at the back of the rest room beside the toilets, you keep walking towards the bridge, you will reach the massive empty car park of the Gym, and you continue on the left side of that car park. You will reach the trail, few meters up and you will reach a stunning view of the bridge, and you could enjoy a lovely walk around, very beautiful butterflies everywhere, and beautiful views.
Smaller than most Moto service areas, but it has everything you need. Costa, Burger King, WHSmith, EV charging stations. Clean toilets – which is a big plus – and friendly staff.
Although tiny in comparison to most motorway services it had all the services you would expect. Top marks as it was clean and tidy, and all staff friendly and helpful. Lots of parking and again none of the litter you can find at similar places. The old services were very grand with the Severn Bridge viewpoint - worth walking to if you have the time and the weather is fine.
Stopped for EV charger, Gridserve was good
Found this services poor, so little here, so cramped, gents toilets are very limited, very little for someone like myself needing a Gluten Free Diet, although the staff at Costa were so helpful and friendly. Not somewhere I really want to meet again, we travelled from Port Talbot to meet with the wife's brother-in-law from Newbury, his wife had stayed with us, so he had suggested meeting here.
Came here at 9am zero vegan options. Costa, WHS and burger king closed. Waste of time.
The main reason I go here fairly regularly is that they have plenty of EV chargers. Six new 350 kW ultra rapid ones, one older 120kw rapid which also has 100kw Chademo and an AC charger which I think is 22kw (ideal if you have an older Renault Zoe). If your vehicle takes CCS you can pretty much guarantee you'll get on without a queue. The services building is much scaled down since the M4 was diverted away. The main building has long since been sold off and a new restaurant shop and toilet area created behind the filling station. Sadly, you no longer have a view of the Severn. There's a BK, a Costa and a tiny WH Smith, also a small toilet area. As they're a bit off the beaten track this is all you can expect I suppose. Prices are eye watering, like every other services I've ever been to. I have a minor disability which means using the toilet is a bit of a mission for me, and you'd be surprised how little things like having the coat hanger missing in the (non disabled) gents WC made things that bit more difficult. The place was clean enough to be fair. I haven't used the filling station in years so I can't comment about it. Recommended if you drive an EV or want to avoid crowds.
The old services is now an insurance company and the new building is small with no view of of the Severn. You have to hunt for the viewpoint which has been left to become unkempt and run down. A shame!
