   Great place for a hot or cold drink & relax for a while. Lots of soft furnishings which reduces the noise levels, unlike in many other similar places. Helpful, friendly staff.

   For our 900th experience of coming for coffee on Hogging the Bridge and delight of Chepstow, it's ROAR time baby !!! My first Coffee 1# experience, here, Chepstow. 2005, new bike, rode down from Coventry. The first place to visit is here. Lovely in the sun or sit in the shade. Parking, across the road on 2 wheels.

1. Weekend Wildness ★★★★☆

   Stopped off here during out little visit to Chepstow. We chose this coffee shop because it had a comfortable range of seating, (Nice sofas) where we could properly relax. We both had a hot drink. Me, a , Cappachino and my partner, a Hot Apple and Cinnamon. The drinks were priced reasonably and the wait for service was minimal. There was also a nice range of pastries on offer but I wasn't tempted. It wasn't that busy when we visited and the noise was minimal too. Good enough facilities by way of toilets. The staff were also polite and smiling. I didn't notice a NO DOGS sign, but I wouldn't assume.

   It's open early so that's helpful, and the decor and ambience is nice around the side with the windows, but a bit dingy in the area behind the counter. Cakes are often slightly stale. Sugar has to be requested now and is not out on the self serve area

   It's a really nice place to get a coffee and do some work. This was my first time at coffee#1 so I didn't know that there was seating at the back (I was so happy ahahah). I also liked that the chairs and tables were all different sets - it added a nice rustic aesthetic to the shop. And the barristers were very nice and polite

   My first Coffee 1# experience, here, Chepstow. Been visiting them whereever since. They have over taken other leading chains but kept it local. I'm not sat across the road anymore. Coffee, Welsh cakes and other delights. Tasty. Back in Jan, 2023. Love it

   An ok coffee place. Coffee wasn't too my liking and surprisingly not that hot - more of a medium only temperature. The vanilla latte I had had a weird aftertaste and the spongecake I bought was dry which was very disappointing. I normally frequent another coffee shop but gave this one a go but sadly I was disappointed during my visit. I am sure that other people will enjoy the coffee but it wasn't for me sadly and the dry cake was a definite disappointment, especially considering the prices you pay.
