   Had a coffee and a sausage roll, Coffee was ok no prbs there, sausage roll was overcooked and dry. It was the only thing that didn’t have a long waiting time. There was a car event on and they had done no prep so most food had a long waiting time. There queue was long which is good for them but no real sense of urgency getting the coffees out. Very underwhelming. Shame because it looked like it had promise.

   Neads a Coffee Hut - Weston super Mare Today, I visited Neads a Coffee Hut in Weston super Mare next to Marine Lake. This was my second visit and I must say that it is a lovely place to have a coffee (lovely flat white). On my first visit, I saw some people having lunch and all of the meals looked great. I asked how the food was and one lady raved about the quiche and salad which really did look delicious. The prices are very reasonable too. Today, me and a friend just stopped for coffee and had a lovely chat with Taylor and Millie, who are a real credit to the business! Both were polite, friendly and professional. I asked if the hut would be in Weston super Mare all year round as I believe it would be a great asset. So many of the cafes nearby close really early (around 3.30pm) in the summer and there are always walkers looking for a drink or snack after this time. In the winter the seafront has many dog walkers, out in all weathers, looking for a drink or food but end up either going without or going into the town centre which is not appealing to me and many people I know. Sitting outside eating or having a coffee in the winter is actually enjoyable to me and the many hardy dog walking folk I know. Taylor and Millie weren’t sure if the coffee hut would be around after the summer was over. I really hope it is as it is now my favourite place to stop for refreshments in Weston. Next time I visit I’m having the quiche etc and one of the many flavoured ice creams on offer. If you are passing Marine Lake, stop and have a drink and you will see what I mean. Highly recommended!

   Sunday was a glorious sunny day with lots of people enjoying the beach and lake, we bought a delicious Marshfields Ice cream, The ice cream hut was busy and there was 1 person serving. Harvey (the staff member) was polite, friendly and patient, he worked fast and efficiently so we weren't waiting too long in the hot sun for our delicious treat.. We we will defiantly be back to sample more of your delicious ice creams

   We absolutely love this little family run coffee hut on the seafront. We visit it all the time when we're there. The coffees and hot chocolates (especially their seasonal specials) are fantastic and the fresh cakes are delicious!!! Their little seating area is just so cute too! We love it there and highly recommend it to anyone popping down to the seafront.

   We stopped here today after a walk along the sea front. We ordered a Chelsea bun and a toasted tea cake as well as some drinks. The Chelsea bun was so stale it was like a brick and inedible. Even the middle was stale. Took it back hoping for an alternative, but all I got was that it would be mentioned to the supplier. The toasted tea cake took 20 minutes and a couple of reminders to actually get it. When it did arrive it turned out to be an hot cross bun instead but at the same price. Again it seemed like it was stale before being toasted. Considering it’s a high price point, it should be a much higher standard. Not much in the way of customer service if anything is wrong, but considering the responses to negative reviews, it’s to be expected. If you want a good coffee and cake I’d advise looking for an alternative.
