Been getting coffee from here periodically since they opened up, the staff are friendly and professional, periodically I have noticed that sometimes that coffee to go isn’t filled all the way up.. which makes me think I have a problem when I can tell when they pass the cup, am I drinking to much caffeine
They made a nice flat white and it was quiet but the location on Google maps is wrong (update submitted) and the car park barrier was broken and the car Park is a bit tight
Pretty appalled with the apathy of the staff in the drive through Costa at the coldra roundabout……very lazy. This was my first time visiting the place and will not be going back. Hadn’t see my friend in a while so we were sitting inside. We turned up and it was quiet with only 4-5 tables taken. We ordered and sat at a table that had used cups/plates on it so we moved them over to the side on a table attached to ours (see pic) I ordered food and was told it would be a few minutes and they would call me when ready. No call after 20mins so went to the counter to be told they had called me twice……..they didn’t because I was listening out for them to call……I didn’t say anything. They put fresh food on for me and said they would bring it over. Brought it over with no napkin or cutlery so had to ask for those. I was there for 2 and a half hours with my friend and none of the staff came over to clear the table attached to us with dishes from the previous customers. Also as customers were leaving the tables were just left with their dishes. They were really quiet inside and the drive through was quiet. The 4 staff were only interested in standing around chatting. One member of staff came around and eventually cleared the tables after we had been there over an hour and a half but they left the dishes on the table attached to us. The staff gave the impression that doing their job was an inconvenience to them. The place needs a serious shake up. I expect more from Costa, very disappointed
Very new modern, nice cafe and drive through (not open). Seating area bathed in afternoon sunshine. Staff not customer focussed, but pleasant when serving. Limited cakes availability. Compact car park at front and poorly signposted car park at rear.
I went to Costa coffee drive thru but sat inside. There were quite a number of people having coffee. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service wS quick. Would recommend Costa coffee at Langstone to friends.
Closes at 6 but won't let you sit down even when you get through the door at 5. Not great with a tired/hungry young family. Need to state "sitting in" hours somewhere if they are going to be so different from the published open hours.
Great facility and location. Despite an apparent abundance of staff on duty a number of tables were left with used cups and plates, and where tables were cleaned there was food rubbish on the floor. Needs focus and attention to detail.
We have visited here 4 times since it has opened, using the drive thru. Despite it being slow due to staff shortages the staff that are there have been polite, thorough, professional and surprisingly cheerful given the pressure they are under. We spoke to a young girl called Megan who was a pure delight. All businesses are struggling at the moment, a large percentage of the country doesn’t seem to want to work. We will continue to visit here and my Vanilla Latte was delicious!
