   I would have to agree with most of the comments on the last review. I am writing this as I want to give some constructive criticism that will I hope, improve the cafe back to the welcoming little oasis it used to be. Box is wonderful and has some great walks, on a Sunday this the only cafe open and therefore we have been along a few times in the last 3 months or so after a gap of a year or so. It is staffed on Sunday by a very young team all sqauahed into a small space chatting to each other or one their phones when not busy or sitting on table by the counter. There is no feeling at all of being welcome, no greeting nothing. They just alll.seem like they dont want to be there. The Chef does his best in a tiny space and is beter but the others have no real idea of customer service. Its not something everyone can do but they need to realise that the ambiance that is created is not a positive one. We walked in again to no greeting and nothing was said when we left. The food is as expensive as Bath if not more so that creates a certain expectation. Cooked breakfast was ok but a bit small for price. After being asked what toast I wanted I then had to chase it before I finished my breakfast as they were too engaged in chatting to each other even though I could see it was done. The experience has been the same every time for us and when I came with my son 8 or 9 months ago. I can see that sitting outside in good weather and in the additional room would be a different experience and you wouldn't come out smelling of fried food. I do hope the owner can look at who they are employing or train them up to get the sparkle back to what could be a lovely little cafe. Please dont be put off by this review give it a try, coffee and other drinks are good and as I have only been on Sundays maybe it has a totally different vibe on other days? All the beat

   Too many cooks spoil the… food. We went on a fairly quiet Sunday morning for brunch. Service was friendly but that’s the only good thing about the place. We ended up waiting 50 minutes for a full English breakfast and a jacket potato. It wasn’t overly busy with two or three other tables having ordered and had their food served. There were 4 people within the small space behind the counter, 3 sometimes all 4 of them all having a go at cooking certain elements of the food, whether that was frying eggs, microwaving or putting the potatoes in the oven, scooping out fillings, putting the bacon on, etc. It was complete chaos to watch. Made worse by seeing who we believe the owner of the establishment sat down speaking to another member of staff wilfully watch the chaos unfold. Why not just have one or two assigned to do what they need to do, I.e. cook, without the other 2 getting involved to over complicate things. Worst thing is the fried egg arrived undercooked as the white wasn’t white and was still transparent, so had to send it back. To top it off, for a village cafe, it is very expensive, and you had to pay extra for toast with the full English to top it off! At that price you would expect it would come with it - as with most establishments serving full englishes in and around Bath. Also the free tap water jug dispenser remained empty for the duration of the 1 hour 30 minutes we were there, despite flagging it with a member of staff while ordering.

   A great little find in Box on the outskirts of Bath, a well presented coffee shop, Child friendly and lovely surroundings. The staff were excellent, nothing seems to be too much trouble with great service and great coffee. If in the area give it a go!

   Had a lovely breakfast here today. I never knew it was there but will definitely be coming back. It's a dog friendly place with seating inside and out. The only "bad" thing that I could say was there was quite a wait for food and we had finished our coffee a long time before it came. This may be due to being busy inside but I can't say for sure as we were the only ones outside. Having said all this it wouldn't put me off going again I would just go that little bit earlier.

   I just went in to have a look because it appeared so inviting...and didn't want to leave. I just had a cup of herbal tea but plan to go back soon and try something off the menu. This place is a haven in a town that's a calm refuge. You need to go there

   Nice little cafe, amazing service the first time round on visiting however visited for second time today and took an hour for us to get breakfast then they forgot the toast! We'll probably just stick to this place now for a drink rather than cooked meal.
