Great pub all round. Still got crib league which is great to see. Plus darts and all sorts. Great grub available! Absolutely perfect boozer. Moretti could have been a little bit more fresh but nothing to knock this from being a 5 star proper boozer. Cheers to these owners and staff! Also good prices!!!!
Visited for a cribbage match. Old fashioned drinking pub for everyone. Great atmosphere. Mainly locals as parking isn't great. I have been there before when they had a cider weekend. If you want a sociable evening, well worth a look.
I entered the pub as a stranger and is an obviously an old fashioned pub with the locals going( who is this.)The staff were friendly and first class,served you even if a regular was waiting.I was thanked for coming in from staff and regulars. Though no food, the rolls were just an option but I have never had better. Ps The great dane is sweet.
Enjoying my visit until I assumed it was the landlady crudely insulted my friend who was trying to offer to clean up the broken glass.She told him to f#@k off you weirdo? Really get a grip you crazy woman!
First time visit. Popped in New Years Day halfway through a countryside walk. Received a very warm welcome.
This pub is nastier than a festival toilet. don't sit in a locals chair or you'll get a mouth full
New management . Very pleasant couple . Stayed for 1 drink on the way home we will visit again soon
