   Lovely pub but very disappointed as dont open until 4pm on Monday and they dont serve food on Monday yet it says they do on the website and opening time on Monday on website site says 11 am turned up after a funeral to have drinks and food to find it closed so went somewhere else very inconvenient as everyone arranged to meet there

   A pool table & a darts board, Sky Sports & TNT Sports shown on multiple televisions. The owner is a great guy, and the locals are always open to a game of pool/darts. Good parking available. Only sticking point is the lack of Thatchers Gold.

   Im giving it 5 stars to support a local pub. But sadly we've visited 4 times on different occasions for a meal out. Everytime were told a different reason why food isnt being served that day. Which is disappointing. But will continue to try support it when wanting to have a drink out etc but I definitely would be more inclined to go if food was served.

   Horrible experience in this pub with my family. Ten of us came in on Saturday night at 7pm wanting some food. We were told we couldn't be catered for as the numbers were too great! (A pub turning away food trade in this economic climate!) We had drinks instead so we added a spare table at the end of one of the booths to accommodate our numbers (Including a high chair for our one year old daughter). We were told by one of the staff that this was not allowed and we had to put it back as it blocks the gangway for the servers. The general attitude of all the staff was disinterested, rude and we certainly won't be returning.

   Fantastic local Pub! Great food for a great price. Excellent selection of beers. Friendly atmosphere with live sport! Friendly staff and lovely outdoor area. Very lucky to have this well run pub around the corner from us. Keep up the great work!

   Since the new ownership has come in, we now *really* enjoy stopping off here or having an evening at this pub! It's a great place to go with friends and your dogs too, and a great place to catch some sport too. And the prices for food and drink are very reasonable! Thank you, The Charlton team!

   Love your local, Jamie and Tasha are very welcoming. Pool table, TV screens for the footie, food deals and great drink selection. Music is always great (thanks Tasha) and Sunday quiz a laugh.

   Just been refurbished so smells and feels really clean. Not doing food yet which is quite sensible as it let's the Staff get used to it all. Nice to have somewhere local to enjoy.
