   I returned to eat her for the second time in 4 months. The pub was buzzing with a friendly and busy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had an allergen bind brought to me and was assisted with which items were gluten free. They then announced this at the table which was reassuring. I will and have already recommended you to friends. I look forward to coming back. The ham egg and chips was top quality and delicious. Top quality ingredients are used. 10/10 for every aspect, even pricing was very reasonable. Thank you.

   Family get together so booked a table for 11 on Saturday. Drinks ordered at the bar & staff bought them to the table. Food order was taken well & wasn't too long a wait considering it was very busy. All food was delicious & thoroughly enjoyed!!

   Had a lovely lunch time meal with my 92 years old mother , staff were friendly , attentive and welcoming , we didn't wait very long between ordering. food and service . Good atmosphere and view of the garden, It looks as a very popular eating establishment as more people came in. Food was great reasonably priced , Would definitely visit again.

   I had a Sunday roast here, the seared chicken breast with extra gammon. They were offering gammon or turkey as an extra with your roast if you so wish to. I have to say the roast was unreal, one of the best I’ve ever had, everything about it was just exceptional. We were seated in the lovely conservatory area and experienced a fantastic service by the staff who were friendly and attentive. A special mention to Caitlin for serving us today! The atmosphere here is lovely, no loud music or anything like that, just a good old pub atmosphere. What a lovely old pub it is, it’s in a great location next to the River Avon and has a nice contrast of old and new. It’s clean and tidy which is a credit to the staff here, well worth the visit.

   Stopped off here for an impromptu dinner whilst crewing for an ultra run along the canal. As always I was worried about if there would be a vegan option as I hadn’t been able to look at the menu in advance. Fortunately there was more than one option! (Rare for a pub I find) This salad was delicious and really filling, I have never thought to put blueberries and hazelnuts in a salad but it worked beautifully and I will be doing this at home. The kale was lovely too. Despite it being very busy our food arrived in good time and it was pleasant to sit outside.

   The Lockeeper is a lovely old pub, by the River Avon with a great garden and terrace. Unfortunately on our visit the dining experience did not match up the the surroundings. We waited around 30 mins for the starter and just before my wife had finished, the waitress came to remove our plates, saying that the main course was ready to be served. But we then had to wait around a further 10 to 15 mins for the main courses and when we received them the food was cold. I brought this to the attention of the manageress and we were refunded on of our four main courses.

   It's has so much going for it...a great garden..wonderful location great facilities but on the whole its disappointing...it let's its self down by disorganised service, 4 people behind the bar and customers queue. Condiments not available.. dogs barking in the restaurant through out our visit...its a shame they could do so much better with just a little care and attention.
