   Very bad service.very miserable.not very welcoming.pool table shut for heath and safety ( boring)no milk for coffee. Personal do not recommend.positive note the sun was shining

   I mostly go there for a beer, (not cheap), and to chill out looking at the view across the Avon towards Pill. Great place for that. Always has been. Nice walk along cycle path and banks of the Avon from under the M5 bridge to the pub.

   It could easily be better with just a few small changes. Limited seating for dog owners. Very bright lights over seating areas. Service is good. Food is basic. Beer selection good. Wine selection bad. Lovely building and location. Decor needs updating.

   What a great find while doing a river Avon walk. Lovely inside, great garden and friendly staff. Had the best sunday roast (beef) I have had for years, and only £11!

   Lovely place and quite big split on ground and upper floors. Very nice food served promptly even though there were a lot of customers. Not too far from the water... just a short walk across car park and banking. Water available to fill up your bottles from the bar.

   Came here for evening meal with my daughter. Booked in advance for early evening and found we needed to since most tables were taken by people ha I guess an evening drink. The menu is rather limited and basic with a couple of ‘specials’ which were nothing special. There was a good choice of beers and they tasted good. The quality of the food was good and the service very good apart from the fact that you couldn’t have a tab and had to pay for everything each time you ordered, which is frustrating. We had a calamari starter with a chicken burger and sausage and mash with a wine and 2 beers which came to £45 which is pretty good value for money
