   We had a family meal at the Windmill last weekend and were genuinely impressed. The experience was night and day compared to our visit earlier in the year. The food was excellent. Fresh, well-presented and full of flavour. The service was warm, attentive and well-paced throughout. We felt genuinely looked after from the moment we arrived. We also spoke briefly with the manager, who was professional and reassuring about the direction the Windmill is taking. It's clear that improvements have been made and it really shows. All in all, a lovely evening. And one we'd happily repeat.

   Beautiful view, amazing food! Would have been lovely to see the sunset but was a cloudy day, nevertheless we enjoyed the gorgeous view over the estuary and could see the Prince of Wales bridge! Food was absolutely amazing and prices were okay.

   Fantastic location, a good size carpark. Clean and spacious inside. Great views, friendly staff and dogs welcome too. I didn't have food, but the coffee was very good. Highly recommend, I will certainly visit again.

   One of a highly cost effective restaurant I’ve ever been. Nice view, the waitress Joanne is very smart and friendly, serving us so well. The food was delicious, big portions and more favour than we expected. The sausage is pretty good as the sauce is very good. At last the delicious by having lime cheesecake and the ice creams with 2 favours (dark chocolate and salty caramel perfectly matched). The only thing I’d like to recommend is the beef, a little bit overcooked.

   Lovely food! Great atmosphere. Would recommend if your down this way but I would suggest to book in advance as we did and couldn't get a table until a little later than planned.

   Hard to fault the Windmill Inn. It is a large bar and restaurant split over three levels and outdoor terrace with outstanding views of the Portishead coast, 2nd Severn Crossing and the coast of Wales. The menu offered plenty of choice and the three dishes we tried were all well executed and served promopty. The dog welcome station was a nice touch. It's a popular place so definitely book ahead and tell them if you want a dog friendly table or a seat with a view. Plenty of parking and nice walks for the dogs.

   What a lovely place to eat. Loved the decor, great service with helpful staff and a fantastic view across the Bristol Channel through the large windows. The food was fantastic! We highly recommend a walk along the sea front and eating here.
