   Had a very good experience at Halfords Eastgate , Bristol on Saturday. Luckily it wasn’t busy. Bought a new car battery and some oil. Battery was fitted and they did some free checks. All the people there were friendly, efficient and knew what they were doing.

   We booked a dashcam fitting service at Halfords Eastgate Bristol, and the technician, Robert, was really helpful and friendly. He finished the installation within an hour and showed us how to connect it to our phone. He also carried out a 5-point check and answered questions that were beyond the scope of the service. I’d highly recommend booking with them—I had a really good experience.

   After looking at the website for a new stereo and digital rear view mirror, I thought I’d comment store and check them out properly. So let down by the displays. You can’t test anything properly, things aren’t switched on or plugged in, and tbh it just looks a mess. I’ve got money to spend but tbh I’ll go elsewhere where I can test things before I buy. Plus zero staff around to approach me and help me out

   Recently had my bike serviced here and would highly recommend. Everyone I dealt with was really helpful (Anis, Tom and Remy). From the initial free bike assessment, booking in for a service (able to accommodate last minute thankfully), and the service itself everything was done to a very high standard and the team also answered all my queries in a clear, easy to understand way. In a world where bike mechanics can sometimes be a bit rude or unfriendly this was very refreshing! Would bring my bike back for services in future.

   Tom Davis did a service of my bike, I went the week before to check the level of service required and they said it had to be the gold. When I went back for the actual service, Tom checked it out and said it only needed the silver. My bike now works fantastically and he saved me a fair bit of money! Hugely thankful for him taking the time to look at it. 10/10. Alex also helped me when I collected my bike and he was really lovely and helpful as well :)

   I always find the staff very helpful here but a special shout out to Francesca who went above & beyond yesterday...very friendly & professional. I bought engine oil & paid for an oil check online & within 45 mins it was sorted! I've only recently bought my car & am still unsure about certain features (especially under the bonnet!) so Francesca offered good practical advice & guided me to the appropriate in-store product that was right for me. I can thoroughly recommend Halfords @ Eastgate and will not hesitate to use them in future.

   The team in the bike department here are brilliant. I've been in many times - for bike services, for lights and accessories, for a new bike. Everyone has always been super helpful and friendly, offering advice and support with whatever problem I have. I'm really glad they are nearby to consult when I need help.

   My experience with Halfords has been always good but not this time when I get an electric bike. The bike has problems with the battery and the light when I came to collect and I requested a new bike instead of this broken bike. When I went to collect the supposedly new bike but it looked the same as the one they gave me before with problems fixed. I could tell from the peeled label on the side, the paint peeled on the pannier rack and the plastic wrap although they said it was a new bike. I didn’t want to argue and having wait for another week with the same bike again so I took the bike. The staffs were friendly and helpful but I think the service could have been better and they really should have ordered me a new bike!
