   Cynically overpriced wheel alignment ŠKODA Enyaq vi I have owned and driven six ŠKODA cars over 14 years but my experience at Weston Skoda has put paid to any future purchases. My tyres had worn unevenly ( not uncommon in Enyaq iv models apparently ?) I was quoted £90 for realignment on the phone this was later amended to £450 ( with hindsight I should have left at this point) but before realignment could be carried out I had to have two new tyres fitted and was quoted a price 50% over a local fitters price. (Same tyres). It was explained to me (twice) that it was a very involved procedure, in the event it took less than three hours. There can be no justification for this kind of cynical overcharging based on an assumption of a “captive audience”. I look forward to your comments. Regards Jeff Churchill PS Just a detail but on the advice it says my car was washed & valeted, it wasn’t, it also says my rear tyres were 39% worn, they are a few days old ?

   The team at Mon House were fantastic; my repair turned out indistinguishably as good as new. They’re organised, friendly, family run, professional and well equipped for all body jobs. They explained their process required for my panel repair, as authorised by the manufacturer. I booked well in advance and they were able to provide me a modern replacement car whilst mine was being worked on. Communication updates through the process were great, and they really went above and beyond to ensure I was more than happy with the results. Every small imperfection in and even slightly beyond the main repair radius were addressed with precision and care. I walked away with such a smile following my experience with them. I’ll confidently be returning to them as a preference for any bodyshop work, and can’t recommend them highly enough!
