   Brilliant vets practise, the reward option staff are lovely and helpful, they will help with everything from appointments to spreading payments. The vets are fantastic I've been there for my beautiful cat Noahs last moments and they were respectful and caring and lovely. And we have been there with our younger cats for vaccines and that was hilarious, my cats are nuts but they handled them great. Just brilliant .

   I have taken all my dogs to icr for years, they always listen to my concerns and are professional and kind. Im a panicky dog parent and they are kind enough to reassure me, but tell me the truth, and advise me. Wonderful vets and receptionist. If my dog could talk ,ge would say thankyou too .

   Whenever I’ve had to phone up (and come in), the women on the phone have always been so personable, friendly, compassionate, positive (in an uplifting way) and calming. They’re incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and ready to help, which is what you need as a pet owner who’s in a bit of a panic and stressed out. The vet I saw was also equally as friendly and supportive — very calming and attentive to my nervous dog. I’m really grateful for the team here for being the way they are.

   Unfortunately had to make a trip to out of hours emergency vet’s tonight with my cats. The vet was incredibly reassuring and knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner with the cats. I sadly have a terrible memory for names but I believe it was Riley Daen we saw. He was fantastic and really kind, would really recommend this practice to other pet owners.

   After a brief one-year member at ICR following a transfer from another practice of 12 years, it became evident that their primary concern was my 14-year-old Alfie’s best interests. Treatments were only recommended when deemed absolutely necessary, a rarity in other practices. I was never pressured into treatments or tests that would not be beneficial. Appointments were always punctual and reception staff were exceptionally accommodating, often going above and beyond. In consultations, treatments or alternative options were thoroughly explained. The focus was never on selecting the most expensive treatments; in fact, they suggested a written prescription for all of Alfie’s heart medications so that I could access them at a significantly lower cost than any veterinary practice. They also recommended approved human-based medications that could be purchased over the counter. This approach enabled me to afford all of Alfie’s medications without financial strain. If his medication requirements increased or additional treatments were necessary, the financial impact would be minimal. This experience reinforced my belief that ICR prioritises patient care over profit, a principle that was never offered or suggested at my previous 12-year practice. Alfie sadly deteriorated on 29/07/25 passing away the same day. I am deeply grateful to the entire team at ICR, particularly Reilly, who was the primary focus of Alfie’s care since his first visit in 2024. Most importantly, I am indebted to John for his unwavering support and ensuring that Alfie’s final moments were pain-free, peaceful and dignified. I will forever be in debt to this practice for their kindness, compassion and the exceptional care Alfie received from each member of staff who interacted with him during his visits. My only regret was not transferring to their care sooner. If I should need veterinary care in the future, ICR will be my first choice as they truly stand out. For the best care and the most dedicated team, ICR is the practice for you.

   We moved our dog to ICR last year after needing them in an emergency. They were excellent then and have continued to be. They are friendly and happy to give informal advice as well as offering flexibility with appointment times at weekends and evenings. All staff we have encountered have been wonderful. Would recommend entirely.

   We couldn’t have been happier with ICR vets. Unfortunately our poor rat got sick and Martyn the exotic vet was absolutely brilliant with him. He has the best knowledge of rats and very professional when explaining possible outcomes (which on our case were not the best). We knew that we’ve been to the best vet for exotic pets which are hard to find. Also the emergency service was brilliant and we’ve received help at midnight on Friday through them, so they are always there for you and your pet. If you have a rat this is a go to place. Staff is also trained to support you when you say goodbye to your little friends and will give you enough time and explain in details the process

   Was referred here by my own vets who weren't comfortable performing an operation on my chicken. Friendly and helpful staff. The vet phoned me as my partner had to take the chicken in. Communicated everything I needed to know, including the costs and what the aftercare would entail. The operation went well and James is doing great. It was very far out of my way, but well worth the travel time. Would sign up with them if I was nearer.
