If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Absolute joke of a garage. The so-called mechanic is a complete cowboy, cutting corners with cheap, half-baked “fixes” instead of actually fixing the issue. Totally untrustworthy — I honestly don’t know how this dump is still in business. The woman at the desk is just as bad: dismissive, rude, and acts like she couldn’t care less. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this shambles of a place.
AVOID THIS GARAGE. Prices are not fair and transparent as advertised. Quoted a price on line with a discounted MOT when you collect the car the price is higher with no discount. The car also had a dirty foot well and steering wheel. I queried the price with Spencer, he was rude and aggressive and refused to listen to me. I eventually got a refund on just one car that I booked in. Lovely lady in reception, shame she has to work with a rude arrogant man.
The AA brought my broken down car to this nearest approved garage out of hours - I had little choice. They struggled to find anywhere to park it - I was concerned for the safety of the vehicle. On top of that, the next day I looked at the garage ratings and was even more concerned. However, from beginning to end the service was excellent. Very timely, helpful and friendly communication from reception throughout. Fair price. Car is repaired and retrieved.

Have just had my mot done by Chris palmer auto services and I can't thank them enough! My car was booked in and I was ill so could not take it to the garage, they kindly picked it up for me, did the mot and dropped it back off! There was no extra cost and the service/staff was so friendly and so efficient. Once again, thank you. Would highly recommend this garage.
Why go to a main dealer and spend a fortune. At Chris Palmer's you got experience and knowledge that guarantees quality service at affordable prices. I have had my Audi serviced many times here using Audi parts at half the price but the same quality of service provided. It's a no brainer.
Great experience as a woman dropping off a car for an MOT many garages see it as an opportunity to try and make money. I can honestly say I felt in safe hands dropping off the car. They called when they said they would. Car was ready on the day. Great service, great value and all the staff I dealt with were very helpful.
I changed my vehicle and bought a Groupon for a MOT and Service. I took my new vehicle in to book it and said I was pleased with the previous service work they had done on my old car. They then refused to accept the Groupon saying that as I was a previous customer and so did not qualify. I tried to say that this was a new car and that it had not been to them before but whoever I spoke to was adamant that they would not honour it. I had a wasted journey and had to find another garage to do the MOT and service... Bad business sense as now there's no point in me travelling here to have any future work done.
I took my well kept 11 year old car there at 8:30 in the morning with somebody who dealt with me courteously. Although to me there is nothing wrong with the car I expected they might find something so that they could charge me more. At 11:00 I had a message left on my phone saying that it had passed with flying colours and with no advisories. When I picked it up I was dealt with by someone else who again was very pleasant and polite. Seem like a very honest auto centre and I will recommend them and will use them again. P.S. I don't usually write reviews so it must have been pretty good.
