Booked my car in for a full service (£270). Turned up to be told "We don't have a manager so we can't access the system." I was told I could wait around for 30 minutes to see if a manager would turn up. I waited and they didn't. Asked for a full refund which I am now waiting on. Wasted a few hours of my time. They should have contacted me at least to let me know what was going on.

Booked a repair check through halfords, dropped it off at 11:30. Told to come back around 5. Spent money in transport to the other side of Bristol home and back, and on the way back there I get a text at 4 saying my booking is cancelled. No reason, just cancelled. I'm about a half hour away now. Chat service was useless. I get there, receptionist says she wasn't even told about my booking, car hasn't moved, and I'm told there's nothing available today. I get that, I was told it was a busy day when I pulled up, but I booked in advance, why even offer the slot if the day is too busy to do it. Apparently only "head office" cancel bookings and they didn't know anything, and the mechanic who bluntly checked me in in the morning "doesn't deal with front of house" so no word of him coming out either. I've worked enough customer service to know it's likely just a lie, so I just left, no point in rebooking it, I booked it for then because I needed it then. And travelled because I needed it and to offer some business. It's fine if you're busy, I know how it is, but why has it taken you 5 hours to indirectly tell me you won't help me, and then not so much as even apologise. Do yourself a favour, avoid this place if you want any semblance of decent service.

I am extremely disappointed with the inconsistent advice and potential lack of integrity displayed by this garage. I had an Interim Service in April 2025 where I was quoted multiple extensive recommendations for essential work needed, which immediately raised my eyebrow given the nature of the service. However, when I brought the car back for a Full Service in December 2025 (only 6-8 months later), I received a report with virtually NO recommendations for follow-up work or urgent repairs. This drastic inconsistency is unacceptable and raises major red flags: 1. Possibility 1 (April Service): Was I unnecessarily quoted multiple recommendations simply to pad the bill and generate fraudulent extra revenue? 2. Possibility 2 (December Service): Did the mechanic fail to conduct the necessary thorough inspection required for a "Full Service," potentially missing critical safety issues? Either way, this is a clear professional lapse. A reliable garage provides consistent, honest assessments. This experience has completely destroyed my trust. I will not be using or recommending this garage to anyone. Future customers should be highly skeptical of their repair recommendations.

I booked a full hybrid service and MOT here. On check in, I was informed there was no hybrid technician in so they couldn't do that. Very, very slow at doing my MOT, not starting until at least 20 minutes after they said they would start (likely an hour after), as we the employees on a smoking break with my car still as I parked it up. I am frustrated that I didn't get a call in advance to say the full hybrid service couldn't be done. I won't be going there again, way more reliable garages in the area.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, appalling service!!! If you’re young or female stay away!!! Went in for puncture repair to be told 3 hours after already being in the garage that it will cost me nearly £300 as my front tyres need to be change immediately due to being severely worn (even though they are new) which was also written in the invoice. After going to a different garage for a second opinion due to being confused as the tread was fine, I was told there was nothing wrong with the tyres and that the tread was well above the legal limit. Appalled at how they tried to take advantage and will never be using this garage again!!!

Had my appointment for 10am, came on time and the guy asked me to wait around 40/45 minutes. After one hour and a half my car was still in the car park, no one touched it yet. Awful service, very unsatisfied considering I booked trought Halford and I paid in advance and my appointment has been moved twice.

I did online order 2 days before ,my time slot was 10am I arrived at 9.50am. I was told that they are behind a 1 hour and fitting would take 1hour because of staff issues . Fittied and I left at 12.15pm. The experience perhaps wouldn't of been so bad if a tv or radio was there and also working coffee machine that was out of order . Ok we all have staffing issues but reading the reviews it's a regular occurrence. The only good thing was the price. Area manger needs to sort this out some I spoke to had been waiting since yesterday because of staff levels.
