Delivery to them 19/11/24 was treated excellently from start to finish from all members of staff gatehouse/ goods in office and warehouse unloaders very quick turnaround and offered hot drinks/ toilets whilst they unloaded me keep up the good work...
I am still, after nearly 2 years fighting a case with this company after one of their vans rolled back into my car, causing damage. The driver admitted he was at fault and then changed his story on his statement. Being an outstanding claim for so long has meant my premiums have gone up, through no fault of my own. Why can't they just take responsibility for their actions. A huge company with no morals. I can't believe they have let it get to the point of going to court.
They hired a security company called Secur 80 ltd who falsely advertise on there website that they are sia registered/approved when they are not.the security guard on site seems to think it’s acceptable to shout and swear at a member of the public for flying a drone (perfectly legal to do so).
Just driving through Ampthill (23/3/23, 12.50pm) and a guy in a NVS van behind me was swearing at me for about a mile for some unknown reason. My six year old child witnessed the array of hand gestures, which was lovely of course! Tried to call and the transport team hung up the phone.
After working for the company for coming up to nearly a year all I can say is warehouse work is the same almost everywhere. Managers and supervisors just tell you what you want to hear. Pay is diabolical for flt drivers with multiple licences and skill sets. So if you like long hours low pay then this is the job for you. The managers and supervisors a bunch of hypocritical double standards that are the first ones to go to the rule book if your not in there little click but turn a blind eye to there little joeys. Hi! My CV has four pages. I have met enough managers to form an idea. Management is great. Always backing up staff, very supportive and motivational. Whilst doing this job, my stress level is zero! Now.... I've seen some negative remarks. Thing is... different people have different horizons. For some, that horizon narrows down until it becomes a point, and that...is their point of view! Negativity can only rise from frustration. You can not criticize what you don't understand! Peace!
I worked here for almost four months everything was good until they got a new manager , all she does is bully people and make them feel so small that they have no choice but to leave the company. The company don't take complaints seriously, quite frankly a four year old could run the business better then this lot! Rubbish job, rubbish pay rubbish management! The best thing I did was leave this company.. feel sorry for the rest of the staff that haven't been able to escape this place! The staff are overworked - underpaid!
