Ordered fish and chips and waited for 20 minutes and to be told the fish fryer is not working. Ordered pie chips garden peas and onions rings and they were as cold ice-cream. It was absolutely poor service and disgusting. Will never use this hotel again.

Very welcoming hotel, friendly reception/bar staff. Rooms are the usual HIE standard, clean, well maintained and functional; standard rooms with usual amenities. Beds are very comfortable, slept like a log! Wifi reliable. Overall a nice little hotel, close enough to Edinburgh for work purposes and easily accessible. Locally there is lots of choice for meals and other shopping.

For the price, this place was perfect. We had a great night sleep, comfy pillows, 24 hour bar, and breakfast. We stayed in luxury stays for most of our trip but stopped here before the airport. Felt like we wasted some money other places after staying here, it always feels risky booking a place that’s cheaper but we were incredibly satisfied with everything.

The rooms were clean (minus the huge spiderwebs in the window sill and inside the curtains) but dated. The shower had a scalding warning sign, which after my shower I understood...the shower would suddenly (momentarily) lose pressure and then come back on with only HOT water (also momentarily, but long enough to make me jump out of the water). The staff, however, was wonderful and extremely helpful. Overall, not a bad stay for the price.

Hotel is in an ideal location and rooms are nice and tidy. One major disappointment for me was that we travelled in a group of 32 and we all wanted to eat together on the Saturday night only to be told that they couldn’t cater for all of us? Oh so you can put us all in rooms to sleep but can’t feed us? Thanks for that

What a nice hotel on the outskirts Dunfermline. Nice specious rooms all all have well lit bathrooms with amazing showers . The rooms are standard express rooms with just about everything you need for a good night sleep what I can guarantee you will get. Ok the lighting in the room its self not great as only comes from side lights on the walls but makes nice and cosy . Room all have massive TVs tea coffee making facilities and ironing board what's nice if away on business. Breakfast is also included what's always amazing. There where a few things what might need to improve on . The coffee at breakfast wasn't great but drinkable and also not having a plug near the bed for this day and age is a bit of a let down but handy if you want to get a good sleep knowing you have to charge phone other side of room. But the main hotel nice and clean opposite Asda and retail park what's handy for them added extras you may need and in a nice woodland area with wildlife to watch .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Choose this place due to location and parking. Room was fine. No AC and only wall heater. Didn't eat here. It was cold and had been snowing. There was zero clearing or salting/gritting of pavements nearby and very dangerous. Carpark also did not appear to have been salted so was icey and dangerous too. It seems the hotel is dog friendly, which is fine, but some of the guests left dogs alone in the room and they barked nonstop for over 30 minutes.

An older hotel but comfortable. The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as expected, good quality sausage and bacon, cooked.

Beds are fairly small.the lighting in the room was far to dull. The breakfast was really good reception/bar area is lovely..the staff were lovely but run off their feet doing reception bar and kitchen really short staffed. They really tried there best.

Rooms too warm. No aircon but knew this fact when booking. Staff friendly and provided local knowledge about eating out as limited evening menu on our visit. Breakfast was disappointing as only scrambled eggs on offer and bacon was dried out. Location is about 2 miles east of the city centre and therefore walkable however there is public transport and taxi hire too. Will try this hotel chain again to compare like for like.
