What a beautiful setting for this lovely hotel. Afternoon tea was delicious. Would make a beautiful wedding venue. Christmas party night 2025 was brilliant. Very efficient food service. Entertainment was great fun with DJ. Lovely decor
This hotel is absolutely stunning with beautiful grounds of nature. Loved it. We attended a family wedding yesterday. The resident DJ was a highlight he catered for all music tastes and generations dance floor was full all night. The staff were all lovely and friendly. I marked down to a 4 star due to the ontap larger selections and peroni tasting off. General opinion too. Aside from that we had a great time and loved the venue. We stayed in a nearby hotel as i think there are only 4/5 rooms here
Went for my friends wedding. It was a lovely place. Staff were on hand to help out and made sure things ran very smoothly. The views were fantastic. Lots of parking spaces
We can't recommend this place enough! Great place to stay even with our dog. On a golf course so if that's your game it's perfect. Staff can't do enough for you , rooms fantastic. Perfectly situated to visit the surrounding areas.
Went for the first time today for the driving range, really enjoyed my time and all staff were so lovely! I arrived with nothing, I’ve never played golf and I don’t own a set of clubs. They provided me with everything I needed and all the information. Great place to go and lovely scenery with easy access.
Great place took stepson upto driving range. He enjoyed his first time.
Rooms are small and dated. They are also dark with dark decor. Only one chair and no table . This is an issue when bar closes very early and no access to any lounge areas so only place to socialise is bedroom .We were with a group of friends so this was not good. Beds are comfortable. View is into a gravel yard . Cars and trucks use this including immediately under window at 6am. None of us managed to work shower attachment and no instructions. Overhead shower took a long time to heat up . Meals were all very good including breakfasts and high teas. Staff serving were friendly and efficient . Breakfast on last day made up our mind we won't return. The owner came to our table at 10.50 . We thought he would ask the how our stay had been if we had enjoyed the golf course. However, it was to remind us checkout was 11 and housekeeping were waiting to get into our rooms ! We quickly wheeled our cases along and departed hurriedly. Overall this is a small hotel run in a way that any guests have to fit in to due to limited staff rather than operating to ensure guests feel welcome.
We had our wedding reception here and what can I say it was exceptional. The service and venue are outstanding. 100 guests who all commented on how amazing everything was. We stayed in the luxurious room which was spotless. The food is to die for .Thank-you for making our wedding day so special and flawless
From to start to finish a wonderful relaxing getaway. The room we stayed in was fantastic, with a lovely Scottish theme throughout and the bathroom was spotless and modern with a standalone bath. The food, although a limited menu was nothing short of outstanding. Fresh, vibrant and tasted amazing. Thank you to Robert, our server Sam and Alastair in the kitchen, will definitely be back, infact we booked again before we left.
Such a wonderful place to stay: * Lovely rooms with great facilities. * Stunning views. * The Scottish Breakfast was yummy, we didn't try the restaurant at dinner but by how lovely the breakfast was I'm sure dinners are just as lovely. * They allow well behaved dogs. 100% we will stay again if we are in the area :-)
