Family run business, handed down through Jon, then Mike and now Paul. Friendly, helpful and straightforward. They spent a lot of time sorting out my daughter's car air con to detect the problem accurately. I could not recommend this garage highly enough.
Really great place. Whole place is clean, really efficient service and so very friendly. Even offered me a coffee. Had the opportunity to charge me the world with a compressor change (what I said I thought the problem was), but was insistent on doing the re-gas first as it made sense to do so. Turns out they were spot on and it completely fixed the problem. Would use again and again. So TLDR - clean, honest, friendly and efficient. No negatives.
Another garage (not Air Con Jon) previously told me that I’d need a brand new compressor. Thankfully, I called Paul, who took the time to explain all the possible issues and solutions over the phone. He got me booked in quickly, and it turns out the compressor wasn’t needed at all—just a recharge. This was honest, efficient and genuinely helpful service and it saved me a lot of unnecessary cost. I am absolutely delighted—thanks so much! Absolutely worth going to a specialist such as these in my opinion.
Very friendly person looked at the issue, gave good advice. Fault finding was methodically done. Reasonable prices. Didn’t have to wait but made an appointment over the phone. There is a foot path very close to the workshop to go for a short walk while the work is done.

Brilliant service. Fitted me in at short notice, despite being busy, leak tested and regassed and on my way in 3/4 hr. The coffee was delicious too. So nice to meet someone who, not only, knows what they're doing but has great customer focus. Sharp contrast with my main dealer who tried to tell me that the Aircon was fine (despite only blowing hot air).
