Don’t generally leave reviews, but just wanted to say frampton garage were very helpful this week. A couple of weeks ago had an issue with my car, RAC took the car to the garage, however after numerous tests couldn’t locate any problems. However had another issue yesterday and I rang the garage, they came out really quickly took my car and had it ready for me in the evening, Very efficient, helpful and kept me fully updated. Job well done
Went in for service and MOT. No issue with that. The issue came when I opened up my boot. They had left the boot fully dismantled with clips all over and trim everywhere. I had golf tees nicely in bags which had been broken and were now scatter everywhere. I had an issue previously with them with an old car but assumed it was a one off and just a mistake. However a second time off happening in my limited visits is a pattern. Called up and was told “they will be reprimanded and spoke to” so corporate code for nothing will happen. Work they do is great just don’t expect your car back together.
My engine light came on last Friday. Despite being extremely busy after lots of cars getting stuck in flood water, they said they would take a look for me but might not be able to look until Monday. I was delighted when they rang at 4pm that day to say they had managed to diagnose the problem, source and fit a new sensor. Amazing - thank you!
Will never ever take my car here again. Still waiting for a ‘in depth reply’ from November. Yes, before you say you have responded, you havnt to all the questions i asked and you said you would reply to! Read the email! My number plate was chucked away (have since found out from someone at your place), chucked away the decat pipe, the worse bit was that they drilled two 10mm bolts into my front bumper to put the number plate on!!! The number plate plinth was on the back seat. I really dont understand how you think that is acceptable? Proper bodge job!! Regret that i paid so much to this company.
AVOID.. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE AND UNETHICAL AS A BUSINESS! I CANNOT BELIEVE THE STRESS THEY PUT ME THROUGH JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!! Absolute money grabbers! Car failed it's MOT due to a few things but most importantly emissions... They told me that most of the time they try spark plugs and air filter as it can change the test result. However I mentioned that theirs a rocker cover gasket leave. They pursued to bill me for MOT and for investigation and "labour" to diagnose In which we discussed over the phone and in which I already know. I called to confront them about this bill and they become confrontational and then following in the week failed to answer my calls or emails so I went in to confront In person and they threatened me with storage fees for my car and all sorts. The head mechanic or whoever became very very confrontational when I tried to negotiate my bill which by everyone I've spoken with in the trade suggest it was an outrageous bill.. AVOID.. Ok for basics like tyres and servicing, but don’t rely on accurate diagnostics. They said I needed a head gasket but actually it was a cracked coolant container. £1,500 versus £50.
Excelent service and very professional. Thank you for your hard job. All the staff very friendly and from now on Inwill be your client. Strongly recommend this garage.
5 star service, they were always informing me of what they had to do in the car and warned me what I had to fix in the car with some urgency. The service was very good, I recommend
