I can only give a glowing review. After making the booking, I was called back within a few hours to confirm the exact day and time. They went out of their way to fit me in as quickly as possible since my MOT had already expired. I arrived 10 minutes early and they immediately began the checks. Within an hour, my car was returned with the MOT completed and passed. They struck me as highly professional and attentive to my needs, and I’ll definitely recommend them for future work

Came in with my Ford Fiesta misfiring like crazy, and the guy literally came outside, checked things over, and explained exactly what the issue might be. He even told me which tools I needed, how the spark plug change works, and gave me proper advice for free. He took the time to explain what could be causing the misfire, what to look out for, and even told me exactly what tools I’d need to replace the spark plugs and coils myself. Even though I didn’t book a repair this time, the experience honestly made me trust them. I’ll definitely come back in the future for diagnostics or repairs. Highly recommended

Brilliant. Booked them via Servicing Stop (who I definitely would NEVER use again, but that's another story - they were terrible). Monster Gear Garage, however, were awesome. Servicing Stop had rearranged my appointment without my knowledge but, luckily, I contacted Monster Gear Garage themselves and they were able to fit me in at the time I had originally booked. They collected my car, carried out the service and MOT and dropped it back to me. There was one issue with the MOT but the garage were helpful and did everything they could to sort this there and then, so I didnt have to rebook. Their customer service was brilliant and I would highly recommend.

Went in with a engine warning light, they diagnosed it and “fixed” it, £280 later and the very next day the warning light came back on. So I return to the garage and they want to charge me another £50 for the same diagnostic + extra for fixing it. Manager was very rude when I came back. Went to another garage and they was instantly able to diagnose my car and only charged me £60 for the full fix with parts, they said this garage scammed me. Edit: yes it did take 2 weeks for me to come back as I was working away? I came back to the garage as soon as I got back to Bristol

I have used monster gear garage twice for the car service and MOT. I was warmed welcomed in 2021 compared to 2022. The service provided last year was outstanding but I am just ok this year and might look for some other garage next year. Not sure if the management has changed or something else.

Not sure if I’m the only unlucky one. I had the brake discs and pads on my car replaced in early September, but a loosen bolt from the brake calliper flew off from my car yesterday. My rear wheel was locked and stalled in the middle of the road and my wife and I were horrified. Luckily a police car went by and helped us out and the rescue patrol arrived shortly. The technician from the rescue service said the bolts of the brake callipers were not installed tight enough, then the brake calliper on the other side was also not tightened. I cannot imagine if I am driving on the motorway at 70 or the bolt flew off hitting anyone or car… Also to mention the day when I had the parts replaced, after driving back home, I found that each of the wheels of my car had a nut missing, turns out that they’re rushing my car to get off on time. They also permanently removed the lock nut of my car because they couldn’t find the wheel lock nut in a green bag in the glove box. Please do not compensate someone’s safety to get off on time…
