I took my BMW here last year and, unfortunately, they weren’t able to find the fault, but I was still charged the full amount. I did mention beforehand that other garages couldn’t diagnose it, and I was hesitant to bring it in only to be charged without a solution. The customer service was genuinely good, but the team seemed to lack BMW specific experience. I eventually took the car to BMW, where a software update resolved the issue. BMW charged me the same amount for the diagnostic and update but at least the fault was actually fixed. I don’t believe garages should charge full costs when they are unable to identify the problem. A more transparent or fair approach would go a long way.

Excellent service - took my Discovery Sport in for work on the tailgate which several other garages had not been able/willing to do. They diagnosed and fixed the issue promptly, for a fair price and were helpful dealing with the warranty company as well.

After taking our Audi to four different garages, each giving us a different diagnosis, AP Autocare was a breath of fresh air. From the very first call, they were professional, friendly, and clearly extremely knowledgeable. Thank you so much for all your help and for getting the car fixed! Highly recommend!!

Booked in for yesterday. Was told to bring car in between 8 and 8.30am. Ended with me having to record the boss admitting damage, not following policy, which he later TRIED to deny! It took Chris driving my car 160miles to force a dpf regen to a high 150. I booked a full service, break fluid service, and fuel cleaner fluid For a total of Β£436. The worker laughed and joked while working on my car. They claimed I had oil in turbo, starter motor, engine and couple other leaks. I had an inspection for oil leaks in July 2024.and oil pan was replaced in 2021 May. Said I would need investigating for engine oil leak. That there is play in my rear arm. Diff coupling cracking. After starting my car. A bulb not blown prior was gone and there was a clear warning light on dash. This had to be pointed out to be fixed before I could leave. My front tyre looked low and my air was set wrong. I have bmw 1 series. Driving 8 miles home the car felt okay. Apart from my warm air was not as powerful as it was prior to them changing my filters. I usually have it on 2, I had to move it to 3. But I unfortunately can't say I trust this garage. They waited until 2pm to work on three bmws all at once. Another one identical to my own was sat running for three hours, bonnet up, no work being done. While they took parts off my car for the service. Which is odd to me. A blue land rover was reved hard until it smoked from the exhaust. They damaged something. There workshop is hidden and you can't really see what they are doing. My car went in for regular 3 year service to replace all service parts. It had no warning lights, no knocks, strange noises, power loss or any shaking at all. It started first time every time. No oil leaks on my driveway, or smoke from anywhere, since I bought it in July 2024 UPDATE : 04/12/2024 Driving my car today, a day after service. And i am skidding on corners, i can hear a tapping which got louder, and the same light bulb on the other side has blown. Meaning they have either broken, knocked out of place or forgot something which is tripping the lights. Maybe its the tapping i can now hear in my engine something left loose that is causing the lights to blow. After checking the air in my tyres they were all different pressures. I have also noticed issues with my fuel economy and sluggish acceleration. I got back there Wednesday, after arguing over 5 days to wait for fixing the issues caused by their employee. My car feels more stable, but not like it was b4 it went in for a service , and was perfect. Its now driving with less wheel stability, less fuel economy, and my steering doesn't feel the same handling roads. My turbo is stopped spooling, and my car stopped working properly. When I complained I was ignored and told nothing was wrong. After much arguing, crying and telling Chris his employee broke my car. He put the computer on and found 11 faults. Of which included my fuel sensor, air sensor and oil switch sensor, plus my start or motor temeinsk 50 were all not connected properly. This made my car put 60 quid of desiel though my dpf in 5 days and block it completely. While the unworking sensors, meant my car couldn't give my computer a message and tell me what was happening. So was damaging my engine, causing rumbling whistling back pressure, loss of power, no turbo spool. I was gaslit by the employee who broke my car. I feel intentionally, as not one issue was present. Now it won't naturally regenerate my dpf and that is a problem. Also my engine filter was partially hanging out and unsealed. Which likely added to the dpf clogging from 50s to over 200. My cabin filter casing was snapped causing rattle. Every sensor near each filter changed was not working. Plus somehow my headlight control arm was also not working after servcie. The worker denied everything, first. But my car was running perfect. The faults codes show he did a sloppy job. As everything he touched he damaged, or made faulty. And broke parts he shouldn't have touched e.g startor motor terminal 50. They didn't do a final check. Cowboys and liars.

When I was looking for a garage that was able to accommodate large S U V's like my Land Rover Discovery 4, I was really relieved to find AP Autocare in Whitehouse Street Bedminster Bristol, who are able to fit my car in for servicing and repairs plus in house M O T 's. But a bonus is the owner's and staff are really helpful and friendly and genuinely good people and that coupled with the Excellent skillful work ethic they have convinced me that I have achieved what I was looking for and I recommend them to everyone who have large and normal size motors who want to experience great customer satisfaction from a truly professional company and I am grateful for their efforts.

I took my car in this morning because the shifter was getting really stiff to move. I had okayed a gearbox oil change costing Β£120 but when they looked at it, I got a phone call an hour later, saying that it was just the linkage needing cleaning, adjusting and lub which cost only Β£67. Gearbox oil change not required. Shifter is now as light as a feather and it cost me half of what I was expecting to pay. Very pleased to find an honest garage. I would highly recommend.

I purchased a car from AP Autocare. They agreed to replace cambelt prior to delivery of vehicle. I asked for a genuine manufactures belt to be fitted, which was agreed. 42k miles later the belt broke leaving me with a Β£2.9k repair bill. It transpired that a pattern cam belt kit was fitted and fitted incorrectly. Do not trust this company.

One of the best service experiences I've had. Friendly, reassuring, accommodating and great advice. Used them on the basis of the recommendation and being a Land Rover specialist and so pleased I did. Will be our go to from now on.

When my appointment for an MOT test for my Kia was cancelled at short notice by another company, we struggled to find a Tester who was not fully booked. We came across these Guys. They found us a slot and the Service was second to none. Very polite and efficient at what they do and will definitely use them again. Recommend them 100%.
