New to the area and chose the garage following a recommendation. Dropped off my Peugeot for its MOT at 9, picked it up at 3. Very polite and professional throughout and reasonably priced. Will definitely use again.

Echoing other reviews that this is an honest and trustworthy garage. I was able to book my car in for an MOT in less than a week and the car passed first time with no advisories. Just paid for the MOT. This is a 12 year old car. Dropped the car off in the morning and had it back by lunch-time.

I am really disappointed by my experience here. I brought my car in due to a vibration I could feel at 70mph. I was told they had “found the noise” after driving it at 20mph, something I never reported. It felt like they didn’t really listen to what I was saying, and I suspect I was charged for diagnostic labour that wasn’t relevant. I was then quoted £219 for a wheel bearing replacement which seemed fair. While doing the work, they said a hub broke which can happen on older cars. However as the car now had to stay in longer than first agreed (which I only found out after calling to ask near closing time if the car was ready yet), I then had to borrow a car for work at late notice and told them explicitly I would not be reachable for the next 3 days. They then went ahead and ordered genuine Honda parts without ever asking me, clearly far more expensive than aftermarket. The final bill came to £608. They left 2 voicemails in this time first saying a part had been ordered and secondly saying it was late, nothing about the price, Honda parts, or asking if I approved it. I found out when it was all done and the bill was presented, effectively railroading me into paying a bill almost three times the original quote. The work itself seems fine but the lack of communication and the way this was handled left me feeling gutted.

Thrilled with this garage - they fixed sliding doors that have been the bain of our lives for months, and didn't even charge! As a new Bristolian, they've won my custom for life!! Can't thank you enough Windsor!!!

I can't recommend Windsor Road Garage, St Andrews, Bristol highly enough! Over the past two weeks, I've had to visit them three times for various car issues, including a warning light on the dashboard, a run-flat tire, and a bumper realignment (that one was my fault!). Each time, they handled everything with utmost professionalism and grace. What truly impressed me was that they didn't charge me for these services as they were small, quick fixes and simply said they were 'happy to help.' A special shoutout to Liam, the young lad who was incredibly accommodating, and Craig, the owner, who was always so helpful. Their customer service is top-notch, and they genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a reliable and friendly garage, Windsor Road Garage is the place to go! P.S. - I did get them something as a thankyou!

Although I have been taking my car to them for a few years now with no problems, I’m afraid I will have to take it elsewhere after they misdiagnosed an issue. My car had an obvious coolant leak at the front of the engine that was easily visible but the garage diagnosed a faulty heater core. When questioned as to why there was no leak on the inside of the car or near the heater core itself (two clear signs of heater core leak), they couldn’t really give me an answer. Another garage got it fixed in less than 24 hours (it was just a split pipe). It also had a split pipe coming from the MAP sensor which they said was unsourceable. Another garage got it for me in less than 24 hours… It is fair to say that they did not charge me for the (mis)diagnosis, but that on this occasion they were not really thorough either so I won’t be taking my car to them again.

Booked my van in for a check up, waited a week for the appointment and when I arrived they said that my van wouldn't fit in the garage as it has a roof rack, it would've been helpful to have asked me if I had a roof rack knowing the van before I arrived and not waste seven days waiting and an hour from the morning/rearranging all my tools in to a support car. Any van owners pay heed.

Couldn't recommend them more, exactly what you want from a local garage. Brilliant customer service every time. I've pointed friends in their direction whenever I'm asked about a trustworthy garage in Bristol. 5 stars isn't enough.

Brilliant service, brilliant staff and good prices. Everyone there is very helpful and you get the typical family business vibe. Only a short walk from Gloucester road so you can drop your car off and go for a coffee. Would recommend to anyone who asks.
