They didn't tighten a bolt properly, and the engine literally fell out. We were lucky it happened on a quiet road just before entering the motorway, or it would have been fatal. This didn't happen recently, but I’ll never forgive them.
I am disappointed in them. They tried their best to shuffle dates and fit me in before that awful holiday period, but failed to provide a quote all day as to how much it would cost.
Recently replaced my clutch - were the best priced to do the job in the area, really nice and helpful staff. I also had some problems getting the car to them in the first place as the towing company i booked didn't turn up, despite the delays they were super understanding and got the job done in the time frame regardless - cant recommend them enough
From drop off to pick up in less than 4 hours and repair was perfect.

Unacceptable service. Stay away by all means. They only care about money and making a profit, no personal touch, do not care in the least about customer loyalty and retaining their old customers. Extremely expensive for what they offer (and use the excuse of "Everything is going up in price, and we are a business and need to money"). Narrow minded and only interested in short term profit. Rude & arrogant, especially Rob who is always very negative and is driven exclusively by his need to 'make money '. No interest whatsoever in understanding what the customer needs. Act as if they are doing you a favour . They are clearly monopolising and taking advantage of their clients . They are also extremely disorganised and never keep track of clients records. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.
Unethical, unacceptable, rude staff. Avoid unless you have money to throw away. They charge twice the price of other garages nearby. Even if there is nothing wrong with car they will charge you just for taking a look (even if it is due to an error on their side). They also refuse to take on any cars with AA warranty. I would definitely avoid this place.
Very pleased!! got told that the work I was told by third party didn't actually need doing. So only ended up paying 10% of what I thought I needed to pay. Guys are busy though, about a week or two of waiting list
Long overdue review to thank all at Stoke Bishop Garage for the great work they did on my car! When my car was due for its service in the Autumn, I decided to try a local garage since my car is now no longer under warranty. Unfortunately, I didn’t go straight away to Stoke Bishop Garage though and tried another local garage. Immediately after my car was serviced at this other garage, it started to leak on the driveway… Very annoying, considering it was absolutely fine before being serviced. I gave a second chance to the garage where the service had just been done to rectify the “mistake” they made, but the car was still leaking badly once they promised me that they “sorted it out”. Anyway, at this point I started to really regret to have tried a local garage, but luckily, I decided to contact Stoke Bishop Garage. At Stoke Bishop Garage, they were all absolutely brilliant. They were able to find out the problem very quickly and sorted it out for me. In addition, they are very friendly and explained to me what had happened (wrong size top, hence the oil leaking etc). Please avoid the expensive mistake I made - go straight to Stoke Bishop Garage when looking for a local garage, rather than trying other local ones! I will now always take my car to them. In fact, Stoke Bishop Garage did my car’s MOT in January and, again, I was very impressed with the service from start to end. Unlike at other garages, they have a friendly secretary answering the phone and dealing with the booking - everything was therefore very easy and efficient. Thank you!
I had to go here for my MOT and interim service, as the MOT had run out, and the Kwik Fit tester had Covid, so I had to cancel my appointment. Fast and friendly enough, but then they charged twice the price! Won't be going again.
