Bald headed guy was extremely rude, and aggressive to me (in front of people aswell). No professionalism about him- Funny how they pick on a petite woman like myself. Doubt he would have approached me in the same way if I was a bloke.

November 2019 (update) ...millions are not enough to provide a fair amount of the stars for the quality of the customer service provided!!! For the first time in my life I'm updating a review because I think that is important for all the other people who (like me initially) is looking first for the reviews to know that at this garage you can find an honest, professional, respectful, friendly and a dedicated person who cares and works hard to provide the best to his customers. At 2 years ago I had a big issue with two members of a breakdown cover company that left me alone with a nearly new car with a diagnosis of an engine failure and asking for a few thousands to repair the car. In panic I started to search all the reviews from garages in Chepstow and I found the DS Auto Services. I called, told what happened and David was really helpful. He told me to send the car...at the garage he made the car diagnostics and he explained and showed me where was the fault. At end the only issue was just one spark plug out of the place and not an engine failure. Fortunately most important than reviews I finally found what I was looking for during years... an honest and respectful professional. Now I always send my car for services, mot's, repairs...everything at this garage! Thank you very much David!!! I wish you a lots of success!!!
I don't look at Dave of DS Autos as a person who mends cars, more of a friend who has a vast knowledge of virtually any vehicle you drive up in. I have around a dozen Classic American cars and no matter what problems I have with any of them he can sort it. He is very reasonable with his prices and will go out of his way to get you back on the road. He has nearly always got a loan car if he is stuck for parts until the following day or longer. All I can say is if you are unhappy with the standard of work on your cars by your current garage, give Dave a try, you will be glad you did!
Top service, highly recommended! I've used a few mechanics in the Chepstow area, (one of the drawbacks of owning a 12 year old Jaguar, I guess) but I don't normally write reviews. I wanted to write a few words about DS Autos because I have been very impressed with their technical know-how and superior customer service. Another thing that has blown me away are the costs, Dave is a proper decent chap and has only charged me what is reasonable and fair. Top marks, will definitely use DS Autos again!
