New to the area and had a DPF light on the vehicle. Thought they were local and could assist so felt we had landed on our feet! How wrong we were! £1200 and still not fixed and then the shockingly rude owner said its another £1200 to look at all the other "parts" as it could be anything from the diagnostics. Jokers! Avoid! Wish I had asked around as it's common knowledge as to how rude he is!!! Another garage diagnosed the fault correctly and fixed it for £285!!!

AVOID! Extremely Poor Service – Avoid if You Value Your Time! I had prepaid and booked an MOT with DMS Auto Services, only to have it cancelled at the last minute with no reasonable explanation. When I tried to rebook, the earliest slot they could offer was over a week later — completely unacceptable for something that was already paid for and scheduled in advance. To make matters worse, after the vehicle failed the initial MOT, they refused to make any effort in offering services to fix the car or suggest places I could go. And to make the situation worse they said they can’t retest until over a week later causing alot of transport issues for myself. This was incredibly inconvenient and frankly ridiculous. Most reputable garages offer a retest in the day or within a few days — this delay shows a complete lack of customer care. The staff are generally unhelpful, and the lady at reception and over the phone is especially rude and dismissive. Dealing with her made an already frustrating experience even worse. I would not recommend DMS Auto Services to anyone. If you value your time, money, or basic customer service, go elsewhere!

Rang just before they closed on Thursday absolutely desperate as my windscreen washers had failed on me and it was freezing temperatures with a lot of salt on the roads. Lady I spoke to got me in straight away Friday, dropped the car off first thing Friday morning and had a call around half 11 with the job completed and the failed motor replaced. Cannot fault the service and the price was also reasonable, BMW couldn’t get me in until Monday and they quoted a lot more than what I paid for the work to be done just to diagnose the issue. Credit to the guys at DMS, lady on reception was very friendly and was extremely helpful.

We’ve broken down in the middle of nowhere on Saturday night, around midnight, 100 miles away from home. Got towed here by AA as “an approved AA garage”, paid over £200 to get the car investigated and fixed. Of course not at first, because after initially paying AA to investigate the issue and plan for further repairs, we’ve been asked to pay £350 to get the car towed to where we live as the garage “didn’t have time to investigate for the next two weeks”, despite us paying for “30-minutes assessment in the next 48 hours”. Of course we refused without knowing what the fault is, as we really didn’t want to spend £350 for something that might be more cost effective to fix at the garage. Anyways. After making a formal complaint to AA, the garage found time to investigated and we were happy to pay extra to do so. The next day, I’ve received a text message asking me to pick up the car ASAP. When asked for a report detailing the cause of a breakdown, I've received literally nothing, despite calling AA Smart Care and asking for details (the report only said “wires investigation” and “car parts fitted”). When I called AA, they called the garage, and then got quite rudely told to “pick up the car as the garage phoned me already”. I’ve found an additional driver on Saturday, drove back over 100 miles to pick up the car as supposedly “there was no space on the yard” to pick up the car on Tuesday (the parking was empty when we arrived). As soon as we hit M4, the light engine came off and the car broke down again the very next morning (same issue as when we left the car at the garage). Being disappointed is an understatement and trust me when I say that I’ll be escalating this further. Do not recommend.

Great service! Went to have wheels balanced at ATS on a Friday afternoon was told they were fine, they were not. Called DMS around 4.30pm that afternoon and they were willing to squeeze me in early Saturday. Balanced the wheels, was very helpful and polite. Couldn't be happier with the service.

This garage is absolutely amazing , took my car in with a DPF fault and glow plug issues and and other problems and was fixed very fast , no hassles , no problems and at a cheap rate too. even though i live in Cardiff , this is how much i rate the quality of their work as i will be taking my Audi back again and can 100 percent guarantee these Guy's. Thank yoy for also sorting out the mess that the previously used garage left my car in, you are complete life savers and the car feels like new again. Thanks again.

Don't get an mot here. 4 major fails and said it would be over a 1000 pounds for diagnostics to fix. I fixed that issue they said would cost a 1000 pounds myself with a 5 minute YouTube video. Took it to another garage for a retest as they didn't let us know you could get a free retest within 2 weeks. I was expecting it to need the other 3 things done before it could pass, im now glad I went elsewhere though as it passed with defects and didn't fail on the other points which they put on the test as a major fail. Don't use, rude people and fail you on things other garages will not. Unnessisary mark on the vehicals record. Save your money and time by not going here.

Fantastic experience. Due to time constraints I needed my mot and subsequent repair (coil spring replacement) completed within a few hours. They exceeded my expectations, gave me a fantastic price and completed everything within an hour and a half. Highly recommend this place. The MOT guy was very polite and helpful even though I was a little crabby and the receptionist kept me updated while I waited. I wish I lived closer as I’d use them for servicing as well. Well done DMS!!!
