   Warning. My car was is for repair here, 3 hours later i was told the car was on test drive. When checking the tracking the car never entered the workshop once! It had been driving locally for nearly 3 hours non stop. Not concerned about the fuel use just the lies about the work being done. Turns out no work was carried out and after confrontation no payment was made. Joy ride was logged with the police to ensure tickets / fines came back to me. Please check your millage and ensure the work is done, log with police is you suspect anything as the police need more history on the garage!

   I CAN NOT WAIT FOR KARMA TO CATCH UP WITH THIS "MAN". Lowest of the low, stealing off people when times are hard enough. He has had my car for over a year now. Police involved, car now needs scrapped as countless parts been "stolen" from it whilst it sits on his forecourt. Over £1500 down the drain. Empty promises for over a year. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!! BIGGEST CONMAN IN THE INDUSTRY!

   avoid this garage at all costs! Took car there a year ago for a transmission repair and its now needing scrapped. To begin with he looked at car started trying to repair it then when he couldn't he says he is trying to get parts and just leaves it sitting in a public car park. Cat was stollen aswell as other parts and back window smashed while under Adams care. He will give you all the excuses and promises to get him away with doing any work or paying any money. He will avoid all contact until you catch him off guard it his workshop. He promised to pay me some money today and low and behold he hasn't, he ignores my calls and texts, go to workshop and its locked up. All the while some time this week he has taken parts off the gearbox because he knew I was scrapping it. He doesn't have insurance or seem to be regulated by anyone who can sort this out. Police still working on it.

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 1 star is too much. Oh dear, what a disaster. Had used this business before and although it took a bit of time we got the job done but this time it’s been hopeless. Sent a gearbox for repair back in March and after many messages and promises that the work was complete (including us paying over £800 for the work), we have now had to take legal action. Agreed to collect the gearbox twice from his premises (we are 2 hours away) and he didn’t appear or answer his phone. Then he promised multiple times to deliver it which also never happened. We’ve been more than patient but nearly 7 months of lies is too much. Adam may be good at his job but taking money without carrying out work as agreed is a disgrace.

   Don't normally write reviews especially bad ones but posted as a warning for buyer beware. Had an issue with my automatic transmission and managed to speak with Adam on a Friday, arranged to meet on the Saturday at 10:00 as he said he would be in working, I waited until 11:00 while trying to text/phone/left messages - no reply, at all, ever (writing this review a few weeks later but I'm not holding my breath). Had a chat with someone who was working in a unit close to his, basically they said that he was completely unreliable and if I was to leave my car there then I'd better have a spare set of keys as it would probably be lying in bits and I'd need a tow truck to take it away after a few months of not getting any response. Consider myself fortunate that I didn't leave my car there. Apparently he is a good mechanic recommended by many - I'll never know. Note - there are other garages actually in Edinburgh (not Broxburn) that look at automatic transmissions rather than having to go through to Glasgow, Autozone is the one I managed to track down and one I'd highly recommend.
