Had notice of a suspected gas leak. Phoned Gasworks on the Sunday. Someone was out and problem solved by 2pm on the Monday afternoon. (They actually offered to come out on the Sunday, but I had to go out so declined). Terrific service, very highly recommended.
Gasworks charged us £120 for a 10 minute call out but did not confirm this cost before coming. We were very disappointed they were not upfront about this especially as they say everything will be explained upfront on their website and that there are no hidden costs. We chose not to proceed with them as we felt we were mislead. They have ignored our calls and messages when we queried the charge. The engineer seemed nice and professional we would have gone with them but they completely lost our trust as a result of this.
I booked Gasworks intially to service a boiler, however after 16yr years it was beyond its shelf life and unserviceable. Adam was very professional and provided different options and advice. I opted for a new boiler at a very competitive price. Adam and his colleague returned within a week to fit the new boiler and flue. They flushed the system, fitted the carbon monoxide alarm and removed the old boiler and all the rubbish. Warranty included. Fantastic experience and would recommend highly.
On a Saturday my old Vokera boiler stopped working and by that Thursday I had a new and stronger Glow Worm boiler installed, with minimal fuss, by Adam. I phoned Adam on the weekend and he came out first thing on Monday to have a look. The gas valve was broken, so Adam sent me over invoices for the broken part and for new boiler without pressure to choose. In the end, given the boiler’s age I opted to have it replaced. He and his colleague came out on Thursday and within a few hours my boiler was installed, and they were so clean with the instal! So so rare with tradespeople. Would 10/10 recommend and will be having him service my boiler annually.

Boiler packed in and would not ignite leaving us no HW and CH. phoned Gasworks in the morning and they had an engineer out later the same day. Bernard the engineer took the time to explain what the issue was with the boiler and fully explained everything he was doing. Having used another company in the past to service the boiler(which wasn’t serviced properly), we’ll happily be using Gasworks again the future.
Woke up a couple of weeks ago with no heating. Contacted Gasworks after reading good reviews and so glad I did. Adam came round at the end of a long day for him and diagnosed the problem and gave a quick fix, whilst waiting for the new part. Followed up as promised and not only fixed the heating but also discovered a gas leak on the cooker, which he also fixed. Great service and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend 100%.
Boiler broke down when it was - 4 degrees in Edinburgh. Adam was very friendly, professional and kept us updated during the day to tell us when he would be able to come. Long days for those guys! Great job, great service, decent price. Would definitely recommend!
I contacted Gasworks when my boiler broke down and it took them less than 24 hours to quote, start, and complete my job - which wasn’t easy. Bernard and his team are so professional, and worked efficiently and cleanly throughout the day. They took the time to explain what they were doing as well and involved me in the process.
