   The true measure of a company, much like that of a person, is their behaviour - not just when things go well but their reaction to a problem. Having hand sifted 8 bags of gravel by hand our family were left with half a bag of sand and dust gross. My husband made contact by telephone and to be fair they acknowledged the quality problem and assured us that the bag would be picked up by the end of that week. This did not happen - he then wrote by email. No response!! Finally on Wednesday of this past week I telephoned and once again was assured that the bag would be collected. The gentleman even confirmed my mobile number and promised to call me back!!! Hmm !!! Here we are on Saturday morning with half a tonne of dust sitting in our drive and the family showing up for a major event in 24 hours. Thanks Building Supply - just the Silver Wedding Anniversary present I needed.

   Super helpful and organised place with v friendly and helpful staff. We were totally let down by our builder and the staff at the builders supply co (Billy, Andrew, Brian and Hannah + the boys in the yard) all went out of their way to help: keeping us right for materials all though the big extension project we were undertaking. Great prices, great communication and great service.

   I needed one jumbo bag of pea gravel delivered to my allotment. Order taken by a very helpful Steven Murray who arranged for the driver to phone me half an hour before delivery. Driver was very helpful despite the overgrown single carriageway access. He dropped the bag off really close to my plot. He was really pleasant. There

   This used to be a good company but since the previous staff have left it is now a shambles. Incorrect order, problem with delivery and uplift, damaged goods, delays in processing credit, no call back when requested and seldom answer the phone (waited over 20 minutes one day and eventually had to hang up) to mention a few. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
