I visited the practice for the first time this morning, having not visited a dentist for around 5 years previously due to anxiety. All the staff were very friendly and everyone went above and beyond in order to make me feel at ease. My dentist Nina was polite and professional and talked me through every step of the appointment which really helped with my anxiety. Overall it was a great experience and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice. I'm now considering swapping the rest of the family to this dentist as the difference in care between Hallows and our original dentist was so substantial.
Me and my son have been a patient of James for over 10 years and I could not recommend a better dentist. He and everyone at Hallows make you feel so welcome and at ease. The practice is just delightful with a light waiting area, refreshments on offer and a lovely book corner for the childern. Over the years James has amazed me by how understanding he is towards my son (SEN needs), I genuinely could not speak higher of James and Kay. If your looking for a new dentist you should 100% be looking to get on their list.
I have recently joined the practice after 8 years of not seeing a dentist at all due to a terrible fear needles and previous bad dental experiences!! I came on a recommendation from a friend and can say I’m so impressed with The Hallows. I was given an appointment with James and can honestly say I have never met such a lovely and compassionate person as him. He completely put my mind at ease even thou I had to face my biggest fear (needles and fillings)!! I had my first filling appointment today and James made the experience comfortable and has made me realise that Dentists should not be feared!! James is professional, funny and caring, he really understood my fears and has helped me to not feel anxious about visiting the dentist anymore!! The practice itself is beautifully decorated and clean. The receptionists and dental nurses are lovely and really welcoming when you come into the practice. If anyone is like myself and fear the dentist I strongly urge you to visit The Hallows as I can assure you they will be able to help you as they have helped me. I won’t be skipping the dentist ever again as I have found a dentist I can trust, in fact I may go as far to say I will be looking forward to my appointments with James and the team from now on. As someone who has grown up dreading my visits to the dentist, and having teeth that reflect this, I cannot praise James Hallows highly enough. He is a friendly, highly skilled and very professional dentist who manages to deliver exceptional treatments (including in my case a very tricky root canal) while making you feel like an old friend just popping round for a cuppa. He really cares about his patients and I would not hesitate to recommend him and his practice to anyone. I never thought I'd say this, but I now genuinely look forward to my visits to the dentist!
