5 star across the board,purchased 2 Boss bracelets.1 of them i didnt realise it was adjustable Initial purchase was with I think Alessandra , she was extremely attentive and cheery, also advised on insurance which i am really clumsy so it was a great idea to insure. I returned to the store on wednesday and spoke to 2 females who were lovely.checked the paurchase date and explained i could bring the bracelet back. Went back today and spoke with Amy who is new and training at livingston before going to South Gyle. Amy will go far and is an asset to chisholm and hunter as are all her colleagues Any demostrated how i was to operate the clasp. Amy was cheery and i will be back again for the necklace. Many many thanks to all the team at Livingston.

I would not reccomend buying anything from Chisholm Hunter. My engagement ring broke after a year of having it and they tried to charge me £800 to get it fixed. When I took it for a 2nd opinion, the metal in the ring had deteriorated so this should be covered by the warranty. I took it back to them and they agreed to send it away for 12 weeks which resulted in the ring being covered by warranty and replaced. After 4 weeks of having my “new” ring back. It broke again, it was the exact same problem as the first time. Again they said they could send this away to get looked at but I advised I wanted a refund due to my wedding being 5 months away. They refused this & the staff in the shop showed no sympathy at all & told me “this ring is not suitable as an engagement ring” so I was left thinking why sell me it then? I was sold a ring that was not fit for purpose. The waiting period for the ring being sent away is 12 weeks. I waited 18 WEEKS to hear back from them. To which point my wedding was a month away and I was left without and engagement ring & wedding band. due to the nature of the engagement ring I couldn’t just choose a simple band. When I did hear back from them they told me that it had broke due to my fault, to which I told them I’d like to see Proof from the manufacturer that this is what they’ve said. They could not provide me with any. I told them I wanted to get a 2nd opinion (like I did the first time) but weirdly, they offered to give me a brand new ring and cover the costs of the damage. Which I found odd due to it being £800 to fix it the first time but now they want to do a a “goodwill gesture” and cover the costs? By this point it was too late and I had to source and engagement ring else where. I told them I did not want to go ahead with the repair yet they done it anyway. Just to get out giving me a refund for selling me false goods. The manager in store provided no sympathy at all during the time of this whole situation. They are sneaky & know exactly what they done. I lost out on a lot of money. I also submitted a formal complaint in November. It’s now 6 months later & I’ve never heard anything back. Over all I’d not recommend anyone to buy from here, they were so close to ruining my wedding & leaving me with no ring. But thanks to the independent jewellers I went to, they sorted me out.

We went in and bought a watch , we had a think about it when we got home and decided that we would rather save to buy the one my partner really wants . To then go in to store to find out you can’t retune it and which we did not get told when purchasing the watch and then on top if they take out links you couldn’t even get the money out on a gift card due to it being “ bespoke” to you which we were not not either or we would have left the links in . So we are not stuck with a watch at £1750 and can’t do anything with it . The manger was adamant there was nothing they could do which I think is a joke . Made me really think about going back to buy anything from them again considering the week before he bought a diamond ring from them
