   Recently had two traditionally set rings transformed into the most beautiful,, contemporary stacker rings . Everyone was lovely. Claire the designer was exceptional and took time to share ideas with CAD images and hand sketches . Such a talented woman.    Jewelry By Design designed myself and my husbands wedding ring. The whole process of working with them was so easy and the service we received was great. When we started looking for wedding rings we really didn’t know what we wanted and they helped us design and personalise rings that we absolutely loved and are unique to us. The shop is so beautiful and all the staff are lovely, would highly recommend.

   Jewellery by design came recommended to me and I can 100% see why. I was really struggling to find a wedding band to fit my engagement ring when I reached out to JBD, they couldn’t have been more helpful from the get go. I found the perfect ring, it was very reasonably priced, the communication was amazing and the turn around time was so quick. They cleaned up my engagement ring whilst I was there to collect my wedding band also and had that looking as good as new too. When I handed over a very old gold plated Pandora ring which barely resembled its original form it was so discoloured I didn’t have much hope it could be saved but I shouldn’t have worried because 20 minutes later that also looked as good as new. I will be back for all future jewellery needs and will be sure to recommend to all my family and friends.

   I had to take some time to share my wonderful customer experience with Jewellery by Design in Linlithgow over the course of a few years. A story I would encourage you to read if you want any sense of what this business is like to work with. In mid 2019, for our 18 year wedding anniversary, my wife and I decided to work with Steven, Clare and the team for an upgrade of my wife's engagement ring. This was after happily stumbling into their store when out for a summers walk one day. From the outset, the team were welcoming and open to exploring lots of options to upgrade the ring, change of metal, additions of stones etc, yet retain the central original engagement diamond. They took the time to really understand what we wanted, and who we were as a couple. The result was incredible. Both my wife and I were delighted with what had been achieved. Subsequently, in early 2022, a few months after our 20 year wedding anniversary my wife passed away. We had spoken prior about what we would do with each others prized possessions in this circumstance of losing each other. And I had always said I would have her engagement diamond built into my watch, so I would wear it close every day. After contacting a couple of well known jewellery designers and workshops in Glasgow, they were far from helpful. Citing every reason it could not be done, or reason they specifically could not do it. It was a friend who reminded and suggested I contact Steven and Clare as they had history working with us before. And from the moment I broke my devastating news, and what I was hoping to achieve, they could not have had a more 'can do' attitude and a sincere willingness to help. They clearly remembered us both very clearly. After a couple of consultations we got to a design, and a wax mould that gave a clear sense of what the art of the possible was. The end product is something I intend to cherish until my final breaths. They have done the most beautiful job of something that means so much to me. I cannot express my gratitude and thanks enough to the team, who feel like they have been part (from a jewellery design perspective) of our love story, and making this final wish a reality. It goes without say I would strongly recommend considering working with Jewellery by Design. Lovely shop and great team.
