   The restaurant was very busy when we arrived which was good to see, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately where we were seated meant we didn't get a lot of staff attention and had to call for service twice to get drinks. Our food was also very late, however the staff did apologies and took a round of drinks off the bill for this which was very nice of them.

   This establishment is part of the Buzzworks empire in the Ayrshire county of Scotland. This first time visit was on a Monday evening and, as with their other establishments, has a pleasant ambience with good background music. Meals were very good as were the drinks. A little pricey but the norm these days, especially the drinks. Staff very helpful and did very well.

   We visited yesterday for lunch. The menus offered something to suit us all. The service from everyone was excellent- friendly, welcoming and efficient. I particularly liked the pumpkin pattern on my coffee. Well done for going the extra mile. Would recommend and we will be back.

   Great all around experience here. A family gathering for a milestone birthday celebration. The food was very tasty and some proportions were greater than others. For example, a pasta dish was ordered, which came in a very large plate with a very small portion of pasta presented. The person who had it was left hungry. Any extra requests we had, were dealt with quickly by very pleasant staff. A little over priced but still worth the visit for the food and relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

   Nice cosy intimate feel to the place with nice modern decor touches. The food was good for the price and the portion size even better! Basic menu with delicious desserts with one or two basic options for vegetarians (burger or tempura, etc). A middle ground experience made better by the lovely polite staff. Thank you!

   The staff are amazing and a credit to themselves. The starter I had was a disappointing fussy ensemble. The steak was cooked to my request with no issue. For dessert, I must observe, that the cheese board crackers are spectacular looking but devoid of character, even if an attractive shape reminding me of mosaic floor tiles. They proved a suitable conveyance method for a lovely array of cheeses however. I concede that these observations may be a matter of my taste in particular. We spent, collectively, a very large amount of money at the venue in a large party, the way the staff conducted the service is a particular highlight, given that members of our party are acutely aware of this high pressure environment. Well done.

   We recently had a celebration diner at The Long House Kilmarnock. We managed to get an early booking and was surprised that it was quite at this time though it got busier later on. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown a rear table. The menu had plenty of choice and it had Halal food. The dishes that we ordered were varied but we all enjoyed what was served up to us. The only two faults that I would mention are that we were not asked if our meal was all right till we had finished it and also one of the large leaves of cabbage was well past its serving date. Would I go back ? Yes.
