Had a great night here. The place was spotless, especially the toilets on a Sat night. The service at bar could have been better as only 1 person on for at least 20 mins. Overall was good.

Won a Las Vegas package through Alea back in November 2024 and traveled there last month with 5 others from Alea and Cush who was organising the trip. Had a fantastic time!! The itinerary plan organised by Cush was 10/10, where we did various activities and most if not all of the food/drinks were provided for. I was also entered Into the main event where I managed to make a cash in day 4 of the event. Throughout the entire event, Cush kept in touch with me and ensured I was catered for with regards to food and drink at every break which helped me concentrate on the event. I am really hoping to win another package for next year. This is truly a package that everyone should be striving to achieve as it provides fantastic value and great company. Can’t say enough nice things about my time in Las Vegas with Cush and the other alea regulars. Kyle

My friend and I visited here during a long weekend to Glasgow. Nice casino with pool tables and dart boards down stairs. A lot of poker tables downstairs as well. They had a couple blackjack tables playing 6to5 for blackjack. The tables use shuffling machines which is more and more common now. Some roulette tables and a large number of roulette machines and slots. Drinks were a reasonable price for a casino with friendly staff. You could smoke outside on the balcony which has good views

An absolutely amazing experience within a gem of gaming facility. The gaming floor is open plan and lots of different area to sit and chill or have meal and get back down to playing on the machines. The staff are very friendly from coming into the reception to going upstairs to meet the staff on the gaming floor. It is well worth a visit especially if your looking to have special night out.

  3. Some Curiosities ★★☆☆☆

The TL;DR? Since it changed owners, not the venue it used to be. Other nearby alternatives do almost everything better. NB no more complimentary soft drinks for members. Ok first the positives: Prime spot, conveniently located at Glasgow Quay. Big space with nice views of Clyde. Staff are nice when you can get a hold of one of them to serve you. (And now the negatives...) But there has clearly been a leak at some point on the first floor, and as a consequence the place smells like the gents urinals. Not nice when you are trying to have a drink on a night out with friends, and you've taken them out to the Alea. Parts of casino are also starting to look a little run down/tired. Worse still (!) they appear to have started charging members and patrons for soft drinks when they were complementary before (unless they spend £20 gambling per day?) None of these issues at the 'Riverboat' casino just across the water - regretably will be taking patronage there from now on. Slightly smaller venue, true, but the view and furnishings are just as nice, if not better, doesn't smell of urine, better staffed and drinks are still free (can't help but feel saving pennies on drinks might cost pounds in custom on that one guys). Shame Alea isn't the same quality, good value venue it was before it changed hands to its present owners.

Was there 28th January 2023 for group night out, from Food/ Service/ Room. All was 10 out of 10. My only recommendation is that the music / singer of the evening was not best to be singing Rock n Roll songs/ bit sreachy at times. However apart from this very enjoyable evening. 1st for me.

Nice cocktails, decent guts on the blackjack and roulette tables, kinda got a bit played by the croupier at the poker table cause he told me it was £2 to play then as soon as play started I was told I needed to put down another 2 or forfeit before I'd even seen my hand. Not sure if that's right but if it's £4 in I would be happy to pay that I'd rather just be told up front. Anyway I left the casino £10 up and happily tipsy so it's all good.

My wife and I had a great Saturday night experience, food was excellent quality and amazing value, service was quick too. No membership required, just ID, however I did join as it gave discounts on food drink and gambling! Had a few lucky spins on the roulette to end a great night, we'll definitely go back.

Great atmosphere. Fantastic service from both the casino staff and restaurant staff. Well decorated and perfectly laid out seats, cushions, the lot. Food was top notch for the price. Highly recommend eating there even if you're not in there for playing games. :) lovely outdoor balcony to just chill and look out onto the quayside. :))
