   Nice cafe, not too big, a bit spartan but comfortable. The food menu is decent no nonsense food, though only had coffee and biscuits on the day. That said cake choices a bit limited, though ok. Location is a bit out of the way but really nice.

   What a wee gem of a place. Came here last weekend for a family birthday. Table of nine including two wee ones. The food and service was absolutely outstanding. I had the salad with steak and peppercorn sauce which was delicious. Others had the halloumi salad and the ploughman’s salad and also said it was fantastic. I couldn’t manage the pancakes but judging by the smile on the kids faces - they thoroughly enjoyed them! Would definitely come back here the next time we’re in the area

   I have been here 3-4 times and it’s quickly become our favorite local brunch spot, a designation I take seriously! Try the steak frites and classic breakfast. The weekday and weekend menus are both well worth a try. It’s kid friendly too with plenty of parking and a duck pond outside.

   We arrived and were met by a very pleasant staff member who showed us to a table right away. We were handed menus and given ample time to make a choice. After placing our orders, we sat for a few minutes before the server brought our food and drinks. Both my wife and I had filled rolls for breakfast and I have to say, they were excellent. Piping hot and very tasty. We found the food to be of good quality and when paying our bill, decided to purchase some cakes home with us. (Cakes were really good too.) We found our bill to be reasonable for what it was. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Bistro is in a nice location and is very clean and modern. We will definitely be back.

   Male member of staff who was on 20/08 was extremely rude! made us feel very unwelcome. We were looking for coffee and a cake and felt rushed to make a decision and then felt the staff were constantly staring and making comments about us because we didn’t order hot food? I would not return! we planned to come for breakfast in the morning after our stay and have now decided to take our business elsewhere as we do not want to made to feel like that again. Disgusting behaviour from staff!
