   I honestly hope no other parents choose to do their wills with Duntons. Your chosen beneficiaries can expect a very cold and unpleasant experience met with nothing but belittling emails from one of the partners and added expenses. Losing a loved one is hard enough.. I hope this review can prevent others from having to go through the same.

   Unfortunately I had no choice but to complain about the service received from this firm, they advise they will endeavour to find a solution if a complaint is received. Sadly this was not the case, they try and move the blame towards the client. they failed to make any progress to my case over a two year period. But worst was to come, they gave confidential information away to the other side, putting me in danger! The case is now being investigated, I will update once I know the outcome. Therefore Avoid Thomas Dunton Solicitors. (As this is an ongoing case I will not comment further until such time the investigation is completed.) Update: The ombudsman has found that Thomas Dunton Solicitors service to be unreasonable. Thomas Dunton Solicitors have refused to do the decent thing and have refused to issue a full refund for the fees paid. Sadly, they have also failed to provide an apology for the terrible service received. Because of this firms failure, our home address has been revealed, and put my family in danger.

   Following a terminal diagnosis, I was suddenly faced with the urgency of needing a will and LPAs done in a hurry. It was a Friday afternoon and my husband rang Thomas Dunton. No one was initially available. I talked to a fantastic secretary (Tracy) to explain the predicament I was in and she told me she would see to it someone would definitely contact me on the following Monday. As promised, on Monday the 14th of February and during her holidays, Catherine Crabtree contacted us and we were able to get through all the paperwork to ensure everything was in place should the worst case scenario arise. We were both immensely impressed with her calm and professional approach to what was a difficult situation for us. All that could be done, was done on that day which lasted well into the Valentine's Day evening. It is difficult to express the value of such a service to someone going in the following day for a procedure from which she may not return fully in charge of her mental capacity. Invaluable! My heartfelt thanks to Catherine and the team. You have been utterly brilliant when we needed you most. We also worked with Thomas Dunton when purchasing and selling properties in the past. The conveyancing service they provided was excellent, thorough and with great attention to details. Every single member of staff was efficient and a delight to work with. We will definitely be turning to them again should the need arise. In this day and age of impersonal internet services, we feel lucky to have dealt with a firm which operates at the human level.

   A Very Efficient Team I have recently used the conveyancing services of Thomas Dunton for the sale of my late mothers property . They dealt quickly with all legalities surrounding the sale of our property and purchase of our new home.
